Welcome back to 30 Days of Soul Curriculum.
I'm Jocelyn and it's looking at all the insights through a soul art journey and how you can use them in your own transformation journey with intention,
With transformation,
With manifestation.
These are skills that you can use that came out highlighted in my soul art journey.
Today I'm going to talk about the time when I finished the soul art journey.
I did a lot of writing with it.
I found the insights right and then all of a sudden I came to this place of,
Wow,
I don't want to do anything.
I had no pressure to do anything before I had figured out what my spirit action would be and I ended up in this beautiful place in my home and time took on a different meaning and that's what we're going to talk about today.
Let's just get present.
Close your eyes.
Just get present.
You might want to wiggle out or stretch or shake.
Whatever you need right now.
Whatever's calling in your body to move.
Just begin to breathe.
You don't have to manipulate that breath.
Just notice your breath.
Just notice your inhale and your exhale and how they dance together.
Notice how your inhale gives birth to your exhale and then your exhale gives birth to your inhale.
It's very cyclical,
Right?
How does that rhythm work for you today?
It might be slow.
It might be fast.
It might be deep.
It might be shallow.
No judgment,
My friends.
Just where you are.
Your breath can be a beautiful blueprint of where you are in the moment.
So just eyes closed,
Feeling your breath and being aware,
Being curious,
Bringing your curiosity to how is my breath moving in my body?
Just curious.
Like,
Oh,
Is it moving?
Do I not feel it move?
Does it feel easeful?
Does it feel free?
Does it feel constricted?
Just allowing yourself to witness your breath.
It really is a beautiful,
Beautiful blueprint of our present moment when we can pay attention to our breath.
You might feel the calling to bring some vocal noise to your breath,
Your exhale.
I find often when I'm just in my breath and being present with my breath,
I often very much want to vocalize.
I just want to bring some vibration.
So feel free to bring vibration or a hum.
So you might want to just vocalize it a hum or ah,
Right?
Just letting it come naturally.
We are just getting present and grounding.
You might want to open your eyes.
I'm going to give a little few sentences about my process.
So when you're on a soul art journey,
When you're in the journey,
Now this one took me,
I'd say like three and a half weeks and I'm still in it because I haven't finished my spirit action.
I'm still in it.
And until I finish that spirit action,
That's when the insights will kind of begin to like,
I don't know,
Slow down,
Right?
But every day something new is coming out.
And when you're in a journey and as if it's solar journey,
Or if you're in an intention,
Working on something,
Maybe you want to lose weight.
Maybe you want to be healthier.
Maybe you want to connect with your kids more,
Whatever it be,
Right?
While that intention is working,
It's magic.
Your energy,
Your higher self is still guiding it.
It's still giving you signs.
It's still giving you information.
So awareness,
Consciousness in our life,
Right?
Is really important.
Through this journey,
I had finished the visual art of it.
I'd finished all the visual art,
Which took me like two weeks,
Maybe even two and a half weeks.
And what I was doing was writing with it.
I was working with it.
I was automatically writing with it.
I was writing about all the things that were happening.
And I had all these journal pages and I put them down and I'm like,
Okay,
I got to come up with a spirit action.
Now I got to come up with an,
Like an inspired action to bring this energy and these insights into my life.
But I had no pressure to do it.
I had no pressure.
All of a sudden without me realizing it,
My life took hold and I found myself in a timeless place for about five days.
I did not touch anything,
But I was in this flow with my family,
Right?
And remember my intention for this was I am showing up for myself.
I found myself in a flow where I did not know what day was what for about four to five days.
And every day felt long and spacious and full.
And all of these opportunities and possibilities in each of those days,
They all ended up coming to fruition in those days.
I was really just in my house,
Connecting with my kids,
Taking sacred space in my house and noticing how much I love this house.
That's what I was doing.
Right.
And I didn't even realize it.
And it wasn't till the end of that like four to five day period that I was like,
Oh my God,
It's been four or five days and I haven't done my spirit action.
Of course,
I had to write about that timelessness because have you guys ever felt it where you're in something and you're creating,
Or maybe you're just in a mode and just time feels different.
It feels elastic.
Maybe,
Maybe it feels slow.
I know when I create,
Oftentimes I'll sit down to create and I'll feel like I'm there for a day and it'll be maybe four hours,
But I will have no sense of time.
I work in the Akashic records and in the Akashic records,
Time is not linear.
Linear time is this,
This reality right here.
But when you're in the records,
Time is more of like a spherical thing.
It's all happening at once.
It's like a drop in the universe.
Right.
And everything can happen.
You can be in your past life and in your future life and in this life.
Right.
And so in the Akashic records,
Time is different and we can feel that we can step into that timelessness when we are without the pressure,
When we're following our flow,
That is what happened.
I'm telling you four or five days,
I was just so taken with my life and I was just in and out weaving in and out of,
I have three kids weaving out of their lives,
Their stuff.
I was connecting with their stuff,
With my stuff.
Right.
It was all,
It was really beautiful.
And when I came out of it,
I was like,
Oh,
I got to get on the spirit action thing.
Right.
And then I had to write about this timelessness.
So sometimes when you're cooking,
Gardening,
I find people when they're gardening,
When I think it's because their hands are in the soil,
Right?
When they're gardening,
They often lose that time.
They get out of that linear time into that place of time is all happening at once.
So have you ever felt that?
Have you ever felt that the time shift where all of a sudden the pressure,
It just goes down,
It goes away.
And you're not feeling like I've got to get this by this,
This by this,
This by this,
I've got to get this in that in this.
And you're on the schedule or to do list.
And all of a sudden it's breathable.
All of a sudden,
It's like,
I have all the time in the world in one day,
Right?
I can get all of these things done in one day.
This idea of time in our relationship to time came up.
And that time period,
Those four to five days showed me that my connection with my house,
My hearth,
My family are really important that I can get lost in that.
And still everything got done.
I actually got more done in those four or five days than when I actually sit down and I'm like,
Okay,
I got to do this.
I got to do this.
I have to spend my time here,
Right?
I got more things done because I was in the flow.
I was following,
I was receptive,
I was open.
And so this is what we're going to kind of work on today.
Your relationship to time,
That place where we're not feeling pressured all the time,
But our world,
Our life is pressured.
Like we are in a time when it's like every minute counts.
You need to do this to get here,
To do that,
To do this.
Our time is very pressured.
And so it's important to start to find those timeless moments.
It's funny because sometimes I find that timeless moment when I'm making coffee,
I become so aware of the process of making coffee and it gets stuck in the beauty of it.
Like the sound of the coffee beans being ground and watching the water pour in a spiral through the filter.
And I just sit there sometimes and the smell brings it in.
And before I know it,
The coffee is done.
And I'm like,
Oh wow,
That was fast.
Right?
Like we become aware and conscious in our life and aware of our relationship to time.
Really the possibilities are endless.
So what do you feel like your relationship to time is?
What is your relationship to time?
That's what we're going to go into.
So if you want to just close your eyes for a minute and breathe.
We started this live by saying don't manipulate your breath.
That's kind of working with time.
You know,
Like I do timed breathing sometimes just to slow down,
Like a shorter inhale,
Longer exhale.
You can do that,
But do not try to time it.
For this,
Don't try to time it.
Just allow your breath,
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Know that when you bring your awareness to your breath,
You're actually relaxing it and slowing it down and deepening it just by your awareness.
That is the magic of being a human.
We have anything we bring awareness to begins to deepen,
Right?
So just bring your awareness to your breath and allow yourself to breathe naturally.
Again,
That inhale giving birth to the exhale,
Giving birth to the inhale,
That spiral,
That circle.
And notice the quality of your breath.
Notice if it's deep.
Just bring your awareness,
Your curiosity to your breath.
And notice if you feel it in anywhere in your body.
Like,
Do you feel it moving your body?
Do you feel it cycling through the body?
Let's call this,
Let's call this like the breath at the soul pace,
At your soul's pace.
I opened this by saying that your breath is a beautiful blueprint of your present moment.
So we're not clocking the pace.
We're not going to count it.
Just be there with it.
Bring awareness to it.
Feel it.
We're not going to hurry it.
We're not going to try to keep pace with any kind of timing,
Any kind of counts.
You can bring some sound to it if you want.
Humming is always beautiful.
What I like about humming is it elongates the breath and the exhale without having to count.
Your voice,
Your vibration is what's causing that to elongate instead of counting.
Instead of one,
Two,
Three,
Right?
We just,
We can allow the vibration to go as long as it wants to go.
And then we inhale.
And for a second,
Feel what it would be like to move through your day from this place.
From this place,
Just allowing your breath to move.
There's no counting.
There's no need,
Right?
You're following your soul pace of breath.
Imagine what it would be like just to be able to follow this.
What would change if you trusted that presence,
Right?
Awareness,
Consciousness,
Curiosity,
All of this creates time instead of consumes it.
What would it be like?
What would change if you realized presence and awareness actually created time?
Instead of consumed it.
Whatever comes up after that question,
Just notice it.
Could awareness create more time rather than consume it?
Are there any sensations in your body?
Do you have any reactions?
Do you have a tightness or an expansion?
Are there any words that pop up?
Are there any images?
Textures?
Colors?
And just for a minute,
When I say time,
What image or symbol comes up for you?
What knowing?
Can you imagine it in front of you?
And instead of seeing it as something that has to be chased,
As something that has to be,
Or maybe even going to further,
Maybe it maybe instead of seeing it as an enemy,
Right?
Instead of seeing it as something you have to fight against.
Can you sit and be present with that symbol,
That image,
That word,
That color that you've given time?
Can you breathe it in?
Can you soften the place and the space between you and time?
Can you imagine the space between you and time gently dissolving,
Or maybe reaching a hand out to that symbol,
Holding it.
When we're in alignment with time,
We're in alignment with ourselves,
It all expands.
And there are so many beautiful,
Beautiful insights,
Actions,
Connections,
That happen when we're in that space.
And while you have that image,
That symbol,
That color of time,
Or that knowing in front of you,
The space dissolving,
I want you to go back into that natural rhythm of breath.
Go back into that natural,
Whatever your inhale and exhale be.
No judgment,
Just breath.
Breathe with time.
I'm going to ask you a few questions while you stay here.
When do you feel time expand and become your friend,
Rather than your enemy or something you have to chase?
What would change if you moved from soul time,
Instead of clock time?
And how does your body feel different when you're in flow,
Awareness,
Consciousness,
Versus when you're pressured and rushing?
So take a deep breath in,
Maybe into your belly,
Into your ribs,
Into the back of your spine,
And let out a sigh.
Feel your body.
You know,
This idea of soul time,
Right,
Of that soul clock,
In a sense,
It is always there for you.
I find that oftentimes when I pressure myself to move and to do things,
Like to get that spirit action,
To get that done,
To finish this schedule,
To do this,
To do that,
It takes up more time inside of me than when I'm just like,
Okay,
Just breathe,
Feel the flow,
Feel my soul time,
Right?
And I get more done in less time.
Yeah.
It's not about having more hours,
It's about being more conscious,
More aware in your presence.
So trust your natural rhythm,
Trust it.
Find your four to five days of just being.
Maybe it's a weekend,
Maybe who knows when it is,
Maybe it's throughout your day,
Right?
But find your four to five days of like getting lost in your life with awareness,
With consciousness.
So thank you so much,
My friends for joining me today.
Namaste.
