Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am happy you're here today as we will connect on the topic of chakras and more specifically the healing of our heart chakra.

In its simplest definition and understanding,

Chakras are wheels of spinning energy that store the energetic imprints of our experiences.

Each chakra has its own spiritual and physical resonance,

Including a corresponding frequency,

Color,

Characteristic,

Just to name a few.

Remember,

Everything is connected.

By understanding the chakras,

We can engage another method to healing and wellness.

Generally,

The heart chakra is,

You guessed it,

Near your beating heart and will also be felt in your chest.

It is usually referred to as the fourth chakra and the Sanskrit name is Anahata chakra.

The heart chakra is believed to be the bridge between our lower chakras,

The root,

Sacral and solar plexus,

And earth and our higher chakras,

Throat,

Third eye,

And crown,

And spirit.

The heart chakra is associated with love for ourselves and others,

Compassion,

Empathy,

And forgiveness.

The heart chakra plays an important role in our overall well-being,

Helping us to cultivate meaningful relationships with others,

As well as increase self-awareness and self-love.

Have you been feeling extreme jealousy,

Withdrawn,

Or feeling codependent?

Do you feel like you're having a difficult time connecting to others,

Feeling defensive,

Or have fear of intimacy?

Your heart chakra could be unbalanced.

When our heart chakra is blocked,

We may have a lack of empathy,

Feelings of loneliness,

Bitterness,

Or intolerance.

When our heart chakra is overactive,

We may feel jealous,

Codependent,

Or self-sacrificing.

Our intention in today's session is to balance our heart chakra.

When our heart chakra is balanced,

We may feel balanced,

Peaceful,

Loving,

Compassionate,

Tolerant,

Warm,

And open.

As we know,

Everything is energy,

And as discussed earlier,

Some things hold the same frequency.

Considering gemstones and crystals,

If you have any rose quartz,

Emerald,

Or jade nearby,

Or any pink or green stone,

Really,

Pause this and grab those stones to enhance today's healing practice.

After the meditation,

Other ways to continue to work with and honor your heart chakra could be to eat foods like mint,

Avocado,

Matcha,

Or your favorite leafy green.

Put on those rose-colored glasses,

Literally,

Or wear the colors green or pink.

Write yourself a love letter,

Give gratitude,

Buy yourself roses,

And or continue to use the affirmations that I'll share at the end of this practice.

Acknowledge yourself for taking the time to be here today,

For taking time for you to connect with yourself,

And to utilize self-care time in a meaningful way.

As a lifelong journaler,

I invite you to journal about your experience following the practice,

Or to jot down any thoughts you may have later today connected to this practice.

Okay,

So let's begin to settle in.

Let's take a moment to check in with ourselves to see how we're feeling in relation to our heart chakra.

We will do this by using box breathing of inhaling for four counts,

Holding for four counts,

Exhaling for four counts,

And holding the lungs empty for another four counts.

We'll build two boxes or go through the box breathing series twice and then sit in silence for about 30 seconds.

If you can safely do so,

Sit or lie down so that you are comfortable and can fully engage in this healing meditation.

If you cannot safely sit or lie down,

Please pause this session until you can come back and do so.

Use this time to check in with your body and how it is feeling.

Okay,

Let's begin our box breathing technique.

Breathe in for a count of three,

Two,

One,

Hold,

Three,

Two,

One,

Out,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold,

Three,

Two,

One,

Breathe in,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold,

Three,

Two,

One,

Out,

Three,

Two,

Hold,

Three,

Two,

One.

Now that you've created space for this healing meditation through box breathing,

Take a moment to consider how you're feeling.

If you haven't already,

Return to your natural breath.

Use this time to make any adjustments to your body as we settle in for the next part of our session,

The meditation.

As you sit or lie comfortably,

Close your eyes and continue to be present in your space.

Feel your body where it is touching other surfaces,

Perhaps the earth,

The floor,

Or your bed.

Make note of all the points of connection and feel supported,

Safe,

And held by the earth.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Sink a bit deeper into your space.

Fill the space with all of your beauty.

Now visualize roots growing from the base of your spine to help stabilize and connect you to the earth.

Visualize these roots as thousands of thin ribbons and thick roots stabilizing your body as you connect deeper into the earth.

As you breathe your natural breath,

Watch as the roots blast through or go around rock and magma,

Stretching down,

Down,

All the way to the core of the earth,

Unwavering in your power because you are safe and supported.

Mother Earth is always here for you,

Protecting you.

Feel the energy from the earth shooting up into your lower chakras,

To your heart chakra.

Feel the love from Mother Earth.

Now that we are deeply rooted,

Let's focus on the bright white light emanating from above our crown chakra.

Feel the warmth and love from this white light on your skin.

Kisses from the universe,

Your angels,

Higher self,

Or whatever or whomever you endear.

Take a deep breath in and as you inhale,

Imagine the white light coming into your body through your crown chakra,

Cleansing every inch of your body.

And as you exhale,

Let go of any stale,

Stagnant energy that is no longer serving you.

Once more,

Deep breath in,

Breathing that white light reaching every pore of your body and breathing out,

Exhaling and clearing out any stale,

Stagnant energy.

At your next breath,

Breathe in the white light and rather than allowing it to swirl around your body,

Instead and with purpose,

Send that white light into your crown and down your entire chakra system to your third eye,

Your throat chakra,

Onto your heart chakra,

Down to the solar plexus and through the sacral chakra to your root,

Through those roots,

Down,

Down,

Connecting to the earth.

You are a vessel of love connecting the earth and the universe.

Now let's envision that white light again,

Entering your crown and rather than allowing it to swirl around your body or sending it down into the earth,

Send that white light into your crown again through your third eye and your throat chakra to your heart chakra.

Now take note of how your heart chakra is spinning.

Is it spinning fast?

Slow?

Is it barely moving?

What shade of green is the wheel of energy,

Also known as your heart chakra?

Using the white healing light,

Begin to clean your heart chakra.

Allow the white light to remove any grime and dirt that may be stored there from memories or stories we tell ourselves.

That hurt you may carry from the things that have happened to you or have been said to you,

Let that go.

You no longer need those unsupportive stories.

Those harsh words you sometimes say to yourself,

Let those go.

Wash your heart chakra clean.

You are loved.

You are joy.

Continue to breathe and as you do,

Allow that white light to heal your heart chakra.

Let's take a few moments here to continue to use the white light to heal our heart chakra.

Keep breathing.

Keep breathing.

Watch as your heart chakra gets brighter and more vibrant in color,

Shining a bright green.

Visualize the white light connecting all of your chakras while your heart chakra begins to send healing green energy swirling throughout your body.

Your heart and all the other organs and systems in this region,

Your lungs,

Your lymph nodes,

Your circulatory system,

They support you.

Breathe.

As your heart chakra shines a bright green,

Imagine that it sends energy down to the thousands of roots connected to the core of the earth.

Feel that strong connection and bond with mother earth.

Allow all of those memories and old stories and other stuff that we cleared from our heart chakras,

Allow that to move down and into the soil,

Rocks,

And magma where the energy can be transmuted by the earth.

With each exhale,

We are letting go of all that stuff that is no longer serving us and as we inhale,

We receive loving and healing energy,

Strengthening our heart chakras.

Allowing yourself to be present with this wonderful energy,

Feeling safe,

Secure in your place in this world,

Just allow yourself to feel this just for a few more moments while we breathe.

Now in your own time,

Slowly become aware of the air on the surface of your body.

Notice any sounds around you near or in the distance.

And if you're in a space where you feel comfortable to do so,

Wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a great big hug.

Bonus if you can wrap your legs up into that hug too and give yourself a full body hug.

Yes,

Legs and all.

Let's close out the session by repeating some affirmations that continue to support and balance your heart chakra.

If you're in a place where you can do so,

Please state these aloud with me.

If not,

Follow along in your mind and hold the intention in your heart.

I will say them all once and then we will say each of them three times.

I am worthy of love.

I am grateful for all the challenges that helped me to transform and open to love myself.

I forgive everyone who has hurt me.

I send love to their heart.

I love and accept myself.

I am worthy of love.

I am worthy of love.

I am grateful for all the challenges that helped me to transform and open up to love myself.
