Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am happy you're here today as we will connect on the topic of chakras and more specifically the healing of our throat chakra.

In its simplest definition and understanding chakras are wheels of spinning energy that store the energetic imprints of our experiences.

Each chakra has its own spiritual and physical resonance including a corresponding frequency,

Color,

Or characteristic just to name a few.

Remember everything is connected.

By understanding the chakras we can engage another method to healing and wellness.

Generally the throat chakra at the base of your throat may also be felt in your chest.

It is usually referred to as the fifth chakra and the Sanskrit name is vushada.

The throat chakra is associated with communication to include both expressing and listening and being comfortable in one's own authenticity.

The throat chakra plays an important role in your relationships both with others and also with yourself.

Have you ever felt like your throat is physically closing up or your chest is tightening?

That's a good signal that your throat chakra could be blocked.

When your throat chakra is blocked you may feel like you can't express yourself or speak out.

You may be feeling misunderstood,

Act in a secretive manner,

Or not be a good listener.

When your chakra is over reactive you may feel opinionated,

Loud,

Critical,

Or maybe gossipy.

You may yell or talk over others.

Our intention in today's session is to balance the throat chakra.

When our throat chakra is balanced we may feel confident in our expressions,

Be a clear communicator,

Be creative,

And also diplomatic.

As we know everything is energy and as discussed earlier some things hold the same frequency.

Considering gemstones and crystals if you have any lapis lazuli,

Aquamarine,

Or other favorite stones nearby pause this and grab those to enhance today's healing practice.

After the meditation other ways to continue to work with and honor your throat chakra could be to eat foods that are blue in color like blueberries or engage in breath work or neck stretches.

You can also wear the color blue,

Sing in the shower,

Talk to your cat,

Chant,

However you feel comfortable using your voice.

You can also continue to use the affirmations that I'll share at the end of this practice.

Acknowledge yourself for taking the time to be here today,

For taking time for you to connect with yourself,

And to utilize self-care time in a meaningful way.

As a lifelong journaler I invite you to journal about your experience following the practice or to jot down any thoughts you may have later today connected to this practice.

Okay so let's begin to settle in.

Let's take a moment to check in with ourselves to see how we're feeling in relation to our throat chakra.

We will do this by using box breathing techniques of inhaling for four counts,

Holding for four counts,

Exhaling for four counts,

And holding the lungs empty for another four counts.

We'll build two boxes or go through the box breathing series twice and then sit comfortably in silence for about 30 seconds.

If you can safely do so sit or lie down now so that you can fully engage in this healing meditation.

If you cannot safely sit or lie down please pause the session until you can come back and do so.

Use this time to check in with your body and how you are feeling.

Okay let's begin our box breathing technique.

Breathe in for a count of four.

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold.

Three,

Two,

One,

Out.

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold empty.

Three,

Breathe in.

Hold.

Out.

Hold.

Now that you've created space for this healing meditation through box breathing take a moment to consider how you're feeling.

If you haven't already return to your natural breath.

Use this time to make any adjustments to your body as we settle in for the next part of our session,

The meditation.

As you sit or lie comfortably close your eyes and continue to be present in your space.

Feel your body where it is touching other surfaces,

Perhaps the earth,

The floor,

Your bed.

Make note of all of the points of connection and feel supported,

Safe,

And held by the earth.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Sink a bit deeper into your space.

Fill the space with all of your beauty.

Now visualize roots growing from the base of your spine,

Which is also where your root chakra is located.

Visualize these roots as thousands of thin ribbons and thick roots stabilizing your body as the roots drill down deep,

Deep into the earth.

As you breathe your natural breath watch as the roots blast through or go around the rock and magma stretching down all the way to the core of the earth.

Feel how strong you are connected to the earth in such a powerful way,

Unwavering in your power because you are safe and supported.

Mother Earth is always here for you,

Protecting you.

Now that you are deeply rooted,

Let's focus on the bright white light emanating from above your crown chakra.

Feel the warmth and love from this white light on your skin.

Kisses from the universe,

Your angels,

Higher self,

Whatever or whomever can share wisdom with you merely just by listening and being open to it.

Take a deep breath in and as you inhale imagine the white healing light coming into your body through your crown chakra,

Cleansing every inch of your body and as you exhale let go of any stale,

Stagnant energy that is no longer serving you.

Once more,

Deep breath in,

Breathing that white light reaching every pore of your body and breathe out,

Exhaling and clearing out any stale,

Stagnant energy.

At your next breath,

Breathe in the white light and rather than allowing it to swirl freely around your body instead and with purpose,

Send the white light into your crown and down your entire chakra system to your third eye,

Your throat chakra,

Onto your heart chakra.

The white light now enters your solar plexus and sacral chakra through your root and connecting to the earth.

You are stable.

You are a vessel of love connecting the earth to the universe.

Now let's envision the white light again,

Entering through your crown,

Through your third eye and stopping at your throat chakra.

Visualize this blue chakra spinning in your throat.

Take note of how it is spinning.

Is it spinning fast?

Slow?

Is it barely moving?

Get curious.

What shade of blue is the wheel of energy,

Also known as your throat chakra?

Using the white healing light coursing through your crown chakra and to the short distance to your throat chakra,

Begin to use this white light to clean your throat chakra.

Allow the white light to remove any grime or dirt that may be stored there from memories or stories you have heard or have told yourself.

You did some breath work earlier to help loosen all of this up and now you are engaged with the healing white universal light to let those stories go.

That stuff that you've wanted to say but you haven't,

Let it go.

The stuff that maybe you did say and wish you hadn't,

Let that go too.

Let go of any energy no longer serving you.

Clear out that throat chakra.

You are supported and loved.

The universe supports you.

Continue to breathe and as you do,

Continue to allow that white light to heal your throat chakra.

Let's take a few moments here to continue to use the white light to heal our throat chakra.

Keep breathing.

Watch as your throat chakra gets brighter and more vibrant in color,

Shining a bright blue.

Breathe.

Visualize the white light connecting all of your chakras while your throat chakra begins to send healing blue energy swirling throughout your body.

You are supported and loved.

The universe supports you.

Breathe.

As your throat chakra shines a bright blue,

Imagine that it sends energy down your spine to your heart chakra,

Solar plexus,

Sacral and root chakra,

To the thousands of roots that connected earlier to the core of the earth.

Feel that strong connection and bond with Mother Earth now.

Allow all of those memories and old stories and other stuff that you cleared out from your throat chakra,

Allow all of that to move down your chakra system through those roots and into the soil,

Rocks and magma where the energy can be transmuted by the earth.

With each exhale,

You are letting go of all of that stuff you no longer need.

As you inhale,

You receive loving energy from Mother Earth,

Strengthening the connection as you act as a conduit and connect with the energy coming through your crown chakra from the universe.

These energies,

The white light from the universe and loving energy from Mother Earth,

Are meeting in your throat chakra to empower you even more.

Now take a few breaths here so that you can be present with the healing energy of the universal light.

Allowing yourself to just be here with this wonderful energy,

Feeling safe,

Strong and secure in your place in this world.

Just allow yourself to feel this for a few more moments while you breathe.

Now in your own time,

Slowly become aware of the air on the surface of your body.

Notice any sounds around you,

Near or in the distance.

Become aware of the support beneath you.

Notice how you feel.

Hold yourself with loving kindness for the beautiful and unique being that you are.

Let's close out the session by repeating some affirmations that can continue to support and balance your throat chakra.

Really hoping that you are in a place today where you can repeat these affirmations aloud or depending on how you're feeling,

Yell them,

Sing them.

Just use that throat chakra.

If you're not in a place where you can speak these aloud,

Follow along in your mind and hold the intention in your heart.

I will say them all once and then we will say each of them three times.

I love my authentic self.

I express myself honestly and freely.

I communicate what is for me without projecting my truth unto others.

I love my authentic self.

I love my authentic self.

I love my authentic self.

I express myself honestly and freely.

I express myself honestly and freely.

I express myself honestly and freely.

I communicate what is for me without projecting my truth unto others.

I communicate what is true for me without projecting my truth unto others.

I communicate what is true for me without projecting my truth unto others.

Thank you for joining me today.

I am grateful for you.

Wishing you a magical,

Inspiring,

And wonder-filled day.

May your soul shine.
