This seven day course is about engaging in self-love talk through active listening, journaling, and classroom participation. This course is the third of a four part series and this course is about practices of self care to promote self love. Each day we will discuss or participate in an activity around getting to know yourself and we will finish with journaling this prompt, “One thing I love about myself today, in this moment is..” This is part three to a four part series, "Cultivating Self Love." The series is meant to be completed over four consecutive weeks, to include all four series, so that at the end of the course you have created and affirmed a habit of giving yourself love daily. Each lesson is eight minutes or less so that it is easy to fit this quick practice into your day. Additionally, because these practices are quick by design, we cannot dive into great detail about the daily topics. Meet your Teacher

Jessie is a reiki practitioner, chakra healing coach, teacher, social caseworker supervisor, co-founder of Blissful Interruptions and lifelong learner. She seeks connection with spirit, nature and like-minded community. Jessie has been on a self-love journey and created 30 days of self love years ago, helping many others to also discover the love within. When we give ourselves love and understanding, we encourage others to do the same and together raise the vibration of the world.

Lesson 1

What We Can And Cannot Control

Welcome to Cultivating Self Love: Practices of Self Care! This is the first lesson of Cultivating Self Love: Practices of Self Care. If you haven't already, I encourage you to check out the first two parts of this series, beginning with Cultivating Self Love: All About You. When all four parts of Cultivating Self Love are completed consistently over a four-week period, you are more likely to have created the habit of giving yourself daily self-love. In this lesson, we discuss how we expend our energy when we consider what we can and cannot control. We complete the session with our same daily journal prompt, ‘'what is one thing you love about yourself today, in this moment? So often we are so busy giving and doing that we forget to do for ourselves and we find ourselves experiencing burn out. Can you relate? Mirror Work

In this lesson in Cultivating Self Love: Practices of Self Care, we engage in some mirror work where we will gaze at ourselves in the mirror with loving thoughts and/or mantras. And of course, our daily journal prompt, ‘'what is one thing you love about yourself today, in this moment?' is included as well. Gratitude As A Self Love Practice

Today is lesson five of Cultivating Self Love: Practices of Self Care. Today’s topic is gratitude. This is lesson 7 of Cultivating Self Love: Practices of self-care. Today’s topic is sensory soothing. We will engage in a brief talk, practice being present with our senses and journal our daily prompt, ‘'what is one thing you love about yourself today, in this moment?' We encourage you to share in the classroom so we can celebrate each others' strengths and uniqueness. This is the final class to the third of four in the Cultivating Self Love series.
