When's the last time you checked in with yourself and given yourself a bit self-love? Join me as we discuss the effects of positive and negative words, thoughts and ideas. We will participate in a self check-in, engage in self love affirmations and acknowledge what we love about ourselves. We will finish with another self check-in to see if we raised our vibration during this brief practice.

Greetings and welcome friends.

My name is Jessie and I am happy you're here today as we engage in a mini self-love practice.

We are all born innocent and worthy of love and compassion.

Our flaws,

Mistakes,

And things that have happened to us,

They may affect us but they are not who we are inherently.

We are complex human beings to include those flaws and mistakes but also the skills and strengths and all that makes us uniquely us.

Once we understand this we can begin to honor our self-worth,

Nurture and heal ourselves on a soul level.

We are all worthy of love and the foundation is self-love.

Let's consider the power of positive energy.

Are you familiar with Dr.

Emoto's experiments with water and the power of vibration?

He wrote about it in his 2004 book,

The Hidden Messages of Water.

Dr.

Emoto demonstrated that human vibrational words,

Thoughts,

And ideas can affect the molecular structure of water.

Whoa!

Dr.

Emoto photographed the different water molecules in a frozen state to see how they had crystallized.

The water can pick up the vibrations as a result of certain emotions and change its structure accordingly.

For instance,

When you say the word hope to water and prepare the frozen crystals from this water you will observe the creation of beautiful symmetry in the crystals.

If you're unfamiliar with the study I encourage you to search it online later today to see the photographs and the effects that negative or positive energy can have on water and likely we as humans too.

I mean considering that the human body is comprised of over 80% water as is the earth.

This is powerful knowledge.

Really when you think about it we know words and feelings can be high or low vibrational so it really does make sense on an energetic level.

Shall we quickly test his theory?

Let's start with a general self check-in to establish a baseline on where we're feeling in this moment.

Let's start with our physical body.

Let's do a body scan.

Thoughtfully scan your body from head to toe.

Are you feeling any discomfort?

How about any pain?

Are you feeling tightness anywhere in your body?

Go on ahead and stretch a bit if you haven't moved in a while and you need to check in to see where you're at.

Take a few breaths.

On a scale of one to five with five being I feel incredible and one being I feel miserable and with the scale in between what's your physical body currently feeling?

What number would you be at between one and five?

Now let's check in emotionally.

How are you feeling?

What are you feeling?

Are you worried?

Are you feeling excited?

Tired?

Angry?

Joyful?

On a scale of one to five with five being I feel incredible and one being I feel miserable with the scale in between.

Where are you on that scale?

What number is your emotional body currently feeling?

And lastly let's check in on your spiritual health.

Are you feeling connected to the universe,

God,

Your higher self,

Spirit guides or whatever term you endear?

On a scale of one to five with five being I feel absolutely connected and one being I feel completely disconnected and the scale in between.

Where's your spiritual health currently scoring at?

Now let's consider all three areas of health,

Physical,

Emotional and spiritual.

What would your overall well-being rating be on the scale in this moment?

Before we get into the affirmation phase let's take a few moments to clear your energy.

Just sit for a few moments and breathe as you normally would.

Relax,

Be present in your body and in your mind.

Now to raise the vibration through affirmations.

I'll run through each affirmation once and then we'll say these aloud three times each feeling the intention in our hearts as we state them together raising the vibration of the world.

I allow myself grace and treat myself as I would a dear friend.

My soul has a unique purpose special to me.

I am exactly where I need to be.

All that is meant for me will find its way to me and if it doesn't it was not meant for me.

I love myself just the way I am.

Now let's just sit with that and ourselves for a few moments.

Perhaps continuing the affirmations in your head or maybe just sitting quietly focusing on your breath as you continue to accept the loving energy.

Great work.

Acknowledge yourself for taking the time to engage in some self-love and self-care.

If you're in a place where you can do so,

Wrap your arms around your body and give yourself a loving hug.

You are worthy and deserving.

To continue with our mindful practice,

Take a few moments to say aloud,

Journal,

Or note in your phone three things that you love about yourself today and in this moment.

Remember,

You are a special being and nobody else can do you better than you can do you.

Now before we close out,

Let's do a quick check-in.

Overall,

Considering your physical health,

Emotional well-being,

And spiritual connectedness on a scale of 1 to 5,

With 5 being I feel absolutely incredible and 1 being I feel miserable.

How are you feeling in this moment?

Has your number changed from earlier before we said the affirmations and shared in the self-love?

Be sure to do something nice for yourself later and continue to give yourself self-love throughout the day.
