Zeynep Ağacıkoğlu

Zeynep is a mindfulness and yoga teacher with a product design background. Her journey with meditation and yoga began in 2009 in Bangladesh, sparking a lifelong interest in the interplay of physical and mental well-being. She has a special interest in trauma and mindfulness and has had the opportunity to study with renowned experts David Treleaven and Bessel van der Kolk. Additionally, she is a trained trauma-informed yoga teacher. This specialised training enables her to better support individuals through mindful and compassionate practices. As an expat who frequently relocates to different countries, she has first-hand experience with the challenges and opportunities that come with adapting to new environments. This personal journey inspired her master’s project on design, which focused on expat adaptation at HSLU, Switzerland. Her research and experiences have deepened her understanding of how mindfulness can support expats during their transitions, helping them navigate and thrive in their new surroundings. She offers mindfulness courses, meditation sessions, and supervision in both Turkish and English, sharing her insights and techniques to foster mindfulness and well-being in diverse communities.
