Welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is yogi Brian Find a comfortable spot lying down on your back Roll out a yoga mat a blanket Find a place where your body can be still and a place somewhat quiet When you find that place,

Softly,

Gently close your eyes And feel in the body connected to the earth so wherever your body is touching the ground Just fill that connection with the ground Just really notice really observe where your body is touching the ground And just breathe steady breath Nothing to do or control with your breath You can breathe in and out through the nose or in and out through the mouth Just allow gravity to do its thing Surrender to gravity Just feel gravity falling down on your body And as it falls down on your body it melts away your tension And as it falls down on your body it melts away your tension And as it falls down on your body it melts away your tension Now let's take some deep breaths So exhale all the air out of your body out through the mouth Close the mouth,

Inhale deeply through the nose Hold the breath,

Feel the tension in the body,

Hold the breath And exhale open the mouth,

Sigh it out,

Haaaaaa Again close the mouth,

Inhale deeply through the nose Hold the breath,

Feel the tension And exhale open the mouth,

Sigh it out,

Let all the tension go in your body,

Haaaaaa Now close the mouth,

Breathe in and out through your nose Nice smooth and steady breath Nice smooth and steady breath And allow your body to sink deeper and deeper into the ground Allow your body to fully relax Your mind starts to let go Clear away your to-do lists Clear all those expectations Clear all those expectations Whole body relaxing even more and more,

Sinking deeper and deeper and deeper Your conscious mind is letting go,

It's giving up,

Surrendering Your conscious mind is letting go,

It's giving up,

Surrendering Now I want you to imagine a cord at the base of your spine And this cord is straight down to the center of the earth This cord is attached to the base of your spine,

All the way down to the center of the earth You're grounded,

You're so connected to the center of the earth And now all your cares,

All your worries,

All your frustrations,

All that tension in your body I want you to send it down this cord at the base of your spine to the center of the earth And now all your worries,

All that tension in your body I want you to imagine a cord at the base of your spine to the center of the earth And this cord is straight down to the center of the earth And now all your worries,

All that tension in your body Scan your body,

Sometimes the tension,

Sometimes the worry,

Sometimes the anxiety hides in your body So find all that tension,

All the worries,

All the anxieties,

Pinpoint them,

Find them And send it down the cord at the base of your spine to the center of the earth Allowing the earth to absorb all this tension www.

Org Now I want you to imagine the biggest pair of scissors you can imagine And I want you to take these big scissors and cut the cord at the base of your spine And as you cut the cord,

You feel a sense of release And you see the cord falling down,

Down,

Down to the center of the earth And your body feels lighter,

You feel more and more relaxed And you feel so grounded here in the present moment Feel it in your body,

Feel this release,

Feel this grounding energy Notice the whole body feels lighter,

Notice the whole body feels more relaxed And you can remain here as long as you'd like Thank you so much for meditating with me today,
