We all possess the ability to tap into a vast reservoir of intuitive wisdom beyond the five “ordinary” senses. This practice invites you to use the elevator technique. This technique invites you to imagine your consciousness riding upwards on an elevator, where you reach a higher state of being that allows you to access the knowledge and intuition that will best help to serve your wants and needs.

The elevator technique involves imagining your consciousness riding on an internal elevator that takes you to a higher level of awareness so you can more easily access information beyond the normal five senses.

As always,

Your intention shapes your experience,

So allow this to be clear.

After you do your opening exercise,

Just imagine or sense yourself standing in the lobby of a very special building where you can access the information you seek.

And as soon as you enter,

You feel a sense of curiosity and happy anticipation.

Notice the sounds of your shoes making contact with the floor,

Whether it's tile or wood or gleaming marble.

Feel the temperature of the air on your skin,

The general feel of this place.

And this space may be casual and cozy or grand and expansive,

Or even a bit of a festive,

Quiet or bustling.

Just tune into the ambiance of this place.

Walk up to the elevator bank and press the call button.

Open the elevator doors open and step inside.

Remember,

This elevator exists solely for you,

So experience it however is just right for you in this moment,

Whatever that is.

Your elevator may be quite luxurious with polished brass walls and a jewel-toned carpet,

Perhaps with a white-gloved and uniformed elevator operator helpfully guiding your choice of which floor to visit.

Or maybe your elevator is modern and sleek and you alone select where your journey takes you.

Either way,

It's as spacious or cozy,

Formal or informal as is right for you.

The ride,

Smooth and steady,

Punctuated only by the bell dinging as you go up each floor to the second and third,

The fourth,

Fifth and sixth,

To the seventh floor,

To the seventh floor,

All the way up to the right place.

And as the doors open,

Feeling a sense of expansiveness,

A sort of 360-degree awareness,

A sense of knowing without knowing quite how you know and just allowing this to be so.

Take note of what you sense,

Again in words,

In words,

Riding in the sky,

Or as music,

Flashes of imagery,

A scene unfolding,

A bodily understanding,

Or a familiar scent.

Perhaps you are greeted by a loving guide,

A wise and kind soul allowing your higher self,

The part of you that is timeless,

To connect to whatever it is that is most important for you to know.

And I'll be quiet for a little while as you take as long as you need to.

So so and when you're done,

Step back into the elevator and ride it back down into your physical body all the way down to the sixth,

Then fifth,

Fourth,

Third,

Second,

And finally hearing the customary ding as you arrive on the first floor.

As the elevator doors open,

Feeling more and more grounded and awake,

Refreshed and alert,

Step out and hear the doors close behind you.

Thank yourself and any guides who have assisted you in this process.

And as you walk once again across the lobby,

Exit the building knowing that you can return any time you like.

And now proceed to your closing exercise so you can return to your day feeling refreshed and alert and centered.

I really liked that! It was engaging and I was a bit pleasantly surprised by what came up for me. I will certainly share this meditation and come back to it myself.

Her meditations are the best! I also listen to her intuitive course. Keep up the good work.

I was thrilled to meet my spiritual guides at the top but soon after finishing the meditation I had a terrific headache. I wondered if it was unreleased emotions as I was crying with joy. Or maybe a blocked Chakra? Hmmm???

That was great. Ovten my minds get carried away in my meditation. During this one I was fully present. And I loved the feeling! Thank you!

I have never encountered an easier process. Very simple to imagine myself in a gigantic library (of which I could spend days in) & pulling a book off the shelf w the information I seek. Thank you for making this possible. As an empath, I already use intuition in my chiropractic practice to help my patients. I typically just ask their body what it is they need me to do & it answers. Sometimes, openly enough that I can actually feel when I have relieved the pain. But other times, I am at a loss and need to sit to receive an answer. Now, I have an elevator I can just walk into! Awesome

Loved this - but would love a longer version with more time at the top of the elevator - I guess I'm slow and was wandering around exploring!! 🙏

Wonderful. I’ve experienced this technique in self hypnosis and found it quite useful. What I particularly appreciate here is the open-endedness: The instructions do not provide too many specific details of what you are envisioning, so you can really drop into your own mental space. (If you are the kind of person who really wants or needs the image spelled out by the instructor , there are plenty of other recordings on IT and elsewhere that do that very well. I find it distracting myself and much prefer this approach.) In theory an absolute beginner could use this recording, but you might feel more comfortable with at least a little basic meditation/visualization practice under your belt before you board this particular elevator. Definitely bears repeat listening; you could conceivably always ride the same elevator and land on the same floor, but the beauty of this particular recording is that it also allows you to change the content every time if you like.
