Affirmations are simple but very powerful present-tense statements that can help you change the messages you give yourself.

These enlist your conscious mind to help you partner and communicate with the part of you that is acting behind the scenes all of the time.

The part of you that is ready to help you feel good about yourself and take loving care of your body and knows that you can do so.

The first several affirmations are phrased as your wisest,

Most loving and accepting self,

Speaking to the part of you that may desire more support.

The others are phrased to come from the everyday part of you,

Another way of reaffirming these positive messages.

Don't worry about which is which.

Just as with the hypnotic imagery,

You don't have to pay strict attention for affirmations to be effective.

Your mind will interpret them in the way that is most helpful for you.

If you like,

You can repeat each one to yourself,

Either out loud or silently,

To help you take them in at a deeper level.

You are important to me.

We are in this together.

Your life has meaning.

I am always by your side.

I am proud of you.

You bring me joy.

I am always here for you.

Together we are strong.

I know that I am here for a purpose.

I do what I need to,

Easily and well.

I embrace my gifts and accept them with gratitude.

I am here for you.

I am safe and complete,

Just as I am.

I am here for you.

I am here for you.

I am here for you.

I am here for you.

I am safe and complete,

Just as I am.

I treat myself and all others with loving kindness.

Difficult feelings are simply mental events.

I breathe through and release old hurts,

And this is liberating.

The time for comparing myself to others is over.

I celebrate myself and the gift of my life.

Each day I am stronger and more confident.

I have an easy and loving relationship with myself.

My life is a miracle.

A precious gift.

My inner wisdom guides me throughout my journey.

My body is sacred and I treat it with reverence.

My worth is inherent and my potential is inherent.

My worth is inherent and my potential limitless.

I release any attachments to what others think of me.

My self-worth is stronger than ever before.

I have every right to be here,

Just as I am.

I love myself in the now.

I love myself in the now,

Even as I work toward change.

Each day I am more and more confident.

I am grateful for whatever my body has been able to do.

I have survived everything that has ever happened to me.

I am a survivor.

I lovingly nourish myself with healthy food and cleansing water.

It is easier than ever to make good choices for myself.

I am grateful to my body,

My most loyal companion.

I take good care of myself and this feels wonderful.

I know I am here for a purpose.

I know I am here for a purpose.

I know I am here for a purpose.

My voice is strong and clear.

I forge healthy relationships based on love and respect.

I create my strongest self each day.

Perfection is an illusion that gets in the way of healing.

I forgive myself for choices of the past.

I see myself from a more loving perspective.

My body is my truest friend,

My most steadfast ally.

I release old tools that no longer serve me.

I listen to my body's cues about what I need.

I recognize the difference between physical and emotional hunger.

I move my body to keep it strong.

I send any worries out with the breath.

I can do anything I set my mind to.

I deserve good things and know this in my heart.

Loving myself is liberating.

I breathe through any emotions that feel difficult in the moment.

I love my body for all it has done for me.

The time for being harsh with myself is past,

And this is liberating.

I am amazing and strong,

Just as I am.

There is more to me than meets the eye.

My worth is much greater than the sum of my parts.

I live joyfully in the present as I create my future.

I have everything I need within me.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

I am grateful for the love I have for my family.

This was great. Is there one for releasing weight that packed on due to trauma as a buffer against more trauma?

Very soothing and deep. Not the typical "I Am..." affirmations, but more tailored to ED recovery, body appreciation, and real world self love. As someone in recovery from ED and struggling with body image issues, this was helpful. I will be adding it to my Playlist. Both voice and music were easy on the ears and not at all intrusive yet kept my attention. Sound quality and content very good. Than you!!
