Affirmations are positive present tense statements that can help you change the messages you give yourself.

These enlist your conscious mind to help you partner and communicate with the part of you that is acting behind the scenes all of the time.

To rethink how you view yourself.

Some people prefer affirmations to imagery or find them especially useful for when they want to remain more alert.

Just as with the imagery you don't have to pay strict attention for affirmations to be effective.

Your mind will interpret them in the way that is most helpful for you.

If you like you can repeat each one to yourself either out loud or silently to help you take them in at a deeper level.

I know that I am here for a purpose.

I lovingly take good care of myself.

I observe and breathe through any concerns or worries.

In stillness I find myself.

Each day is a new beginning.

I am grateful for the gift of my life.

I observe my thoughts and feelings with compassion.

I am patient and loving with myself.

I embrace life's changes day by day.

Stillness is a gift I give myself.

The breath is healing and centering.

The most precious moment is now.
