My name is Fleur Chambers and as always it's my pleasure to be here with you.
This meditation is a powerful reminder that even when life feels challenging,
Busy or overwhelming,
You have the ability to cultivate peace within you.
When we believe in our capacity to cultivate inner peace,
We grow in both confidence and resilience.
So settling in,
Allowing your eyes to gently close if it pleases you today and becoming aware of the places where your body comes in contact with the surface beneath you.
With each exhale,
Can you allow your body to feel a little heavier,
To drop into the support of the earth beneath you.
Shoulders,
Hips,
Pelvis,
Eyes,
All getting heavier with each out breath.
Now opening to the possibility that you can also let go emotionally using your out breath once again as a tool for letting go.
With each long smooth exhale,
Can you let go of any feelings of busyness or overwhelm?
Can you let go of any stale emotions like guilt or shame or regret?
Letting go of all the moments when you weren't perfect,
Letting go of the conversations that have left you feeling uneasy,
Really dropping deep into the support of the earth beneath you.
Trusting in your capacity to let go,
To let go of thoughts,
Emotions,
Physical sensations that here in this moment don't serve you.
Well done.
Now that we have created some space,
Let's explore a simple practice to help us connect with the energy that is all around us.
Bring your palms to face down on your thighs,
Really feel into the point of contact between your hands and your thighs,
Noticing temperature,
Pressure,
Sensation,
Focusing on your exhale and imagining that with each out breath,
The energy is traveling from your busy thinking mind down your neck,
Spine and then pulling into your hands,
Breathing in this downward energetic motion for a few breaths.
With each exhale,
Energy traveling from your mind all the way into your hands,
Really sensing into how this energy feels grounded,
Calming.
With each exhale,
Energy is traveling from your busy thinking mind down your spine into your hands,
Grounding you,
Feeling into your hands,
Noticing sensation,
Sensation,
Noticing how you feel after intentionally cultivating this grounding energy and now turning your palms to face upwards on your thighs,
Noticing the change in sensation within your hands simply from altering their position.
What do you feel in the palms of your hands and as you inhale,
Imagine that the breath is moving from your hands up your spine,
Out the top of your head into the sky above,
Breath moving from your hands up your spine,
Out the top of your head into the sky above and notice how this upward flow of energy feels for you.
Perhaps you naturally want to straighten your spine,
Maybe you feel lighter or more spacious,
Noticing how this upwards energy feels different to the downward energy you cultivated previously and offering yourself a smile for witnessing and directing energy within and around you,
Allowing your hands to rest in a comfortable position and bringing this multi-dimensional awareness with you as your focus rests on your heart,
Really feeling into the energetic quality of your heart as it rests within your chest.
Does it feel light or heavy,
Large or small,
Bold or vulnerable,
Resting here in connection with your heart,
Trusting that your heart is the gateway to the higher dimensions like love,
Compassion,
Gratitude and peace.
In meditation,
Our awareness expands and it becomes possible to access aspects of ourselves which are usually beyond our reach.
Here in this moment,
In this moment,
The vibration of peace is sitting just at the edges of your awareness,
Using your imagination or your intuition,
Seeing if you can sense or feel the energy of peace floating out there at the edges of your awareness.
Does this energy of peace have a color,
A rhythm,
A pulse,
Imagining that between you and the energy of peace there is a bridge and that as you breathe in,
The energy of peace is traveling across the bridge towards you.
With each inhale,
This sense of peace is moving across the bridge and arriving at the outskirts of your body and you realize that here in this moment,
You can breathe this energy of peace deep into your into your physical being.
As you inhale,
The energy of peace is flowing down your throat to your chest,
Filling your heart and lungs with its energy,
Color and glow.
Peace landing deep into your stomach,
Filling your hips and pelvis,
The rhythm of peace moving down your legs,
Filling your feet and all 10 toes,
Flowing across your chest,
Moving down your arms,
Settling over your hands and all 10 fingers,
Breathing deep,
Really sensing how your whole body is filled with the vibration of peace,
Allowing this energetic expression of peace to seep further into your being,
Your organs,
Tissues,
Ligaments,
Each drop of blood moving through your veins,
Vibrating the energy of peace,
Peace traveling deep into the trillions of cells within your body,
Creating a new vibration within you.
Can you feel it?
This vibration is infinite,
It can travel time and space,
You've called it in from the edges of your awareness,
You've breathed it into your being and now you can share it with the world.
As you exhale,
Imagining this vibration of peace flowing from you to touch all living creatures,
To land within the hearts of family and friends,
Past and present,
Greeting pets,
Past and present,
Diving into the homes of people who are really struggling and if it feels natural for you,
Perhaps thinking of one person in particular who could really benefit from your peace today,
With each long smooth exhale,
Sending your peace to them,
Emotions to rise and fall,
Surrendering into the fullness of this moment,
Taking one full breath,
Sending your vibration of peace to greet animals large and small,
Touching the whales,
Turtles and octopus that inhabit our vast oceans,
Landing on the majestic giraffes,
Lions and elephants of the Serengeti,
The humble earthworms,
Beetles and bees,
The birds and the butterflies that color our sky,
Sending all animals peace through your breath,
This gentle yet courageous act,
A reminder of just how connected we all are,
With your breath sending your unique expression of peace to the mountains,
Valleys and deserts,
To the rivers,
Lakes and seas,
Sending it into the soil,
Rocks,
Crystals and minerals,
All the way to the center of the earth,
Breathing in peace,
Breathing out peace,
Allowing this experience to create a new baseline of quiet confidence within you,
Trusting that next time you get hooked into the busyness or the drama,
The insecurities or the feelings of not being enough,
You will pause and reconnect with this feeling of inner peace,
You will remember that you can call peace in and you can send it out,
Allowing your awareness to come back to your body,
Sitting in meditation,
The hum of life around you,
Opening your eyes,
May you move through your day more aware that peace is possible for you,
Even amidst the ordinary everyday moments.
