Welcome to this meditation for calm and peace,
Even if you're juggling too many responsibilities.
I'm Sarasenna Croce and I'll be your guide today.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or lying down.
And then gently close your eyes if that feels safe.
Let's begin by bringing our awareness to the senses,
To really arrive in the present moment.
Start to become aware of sound,
All of the noises around you in the distance.
Just observe this coming and going of sound.
And now bring your awareness to your body.
Just feel the temperature of the air on your skin,
The clothes that are touching your body,
The surface beneath you that's supporting you.
And now bring your awareness to gravity,
This external force all around you,
Connecting you to this world.
Just see if you can soften and surrender to this force,
Allowing yourself to become heavy,
Grounded and supported.
And now bring your awareness to the breath.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth,
In and out.
And continue to breathe in this way for a few more breaths on your own.
And now let's step into your serene garden,
A sacred space of calmness and peace where you can reconnect with your inner self and find refuge from the demands of juggling too many responsibilities.
As you step into this tranquil oasis,
Take a moment to notice the peacefulness of the surroundings,
The gentle breeze,
The quiet rustle of leaves and the steady rhythm of nature.
So calm.
Find a comfortable spot now to settle down,
Maybe beneath the protective branches of a sturdy tree or beside the soothing flow of a gentle stream.
Take a deep breath,
Allowing yourself to release the weight of your responsibilities.
In this moment,
You are free from the pressure of doing it all,
You are simply present.
Just like the branches of the trees can hold many leaves,
Yet remain grounded and strong,
You too can carry your responsibilities with grace and balance.
Even when life feels overwhelming,
You have the inner strength to prioritize and manage what truly matters.
Take a moment to acknowledge this strength,
Allowing it to fill your entire being with a sense of calm and reassurance.
Feel the burden of juggling all these responsibilities begin to ease as you embrace the idea that it's okay to let go of what no longer serves you.
As you sit in this tranquil garden,
Surrounded by the calm of nature,
Let go of any guilt or pressure to be everything to everyone.
Instead allow yourself to be enveloped in a sense of peace and acceptance,
Knowing that you are enough,
Even if you don't want to and can't do it all at once.
Your worth is not measured by how much weight is on your shoulders,
You are enough just as you are.
With each breath you take,
Feel yourself becoming more centered,
More balanced and more at peace,
Releasing the need to juggle everything perfectly.
Realize the simple truth that it's okay to ask for help,
To set boundaries and to focus on what's most important,
Most important to you.
Now in the stillness of your serene garden,
Take a moment to set an intention for yourself,
A gentle reminder to approach your responsibilities with calm and clarity,
To delegate when needed,
To say no and to give yourself permission to rest.
Whether it's a commitment to self-compassion,
A promise to find balance or simply a moment of gratitude for your own efforts,
Allow this intention to guide you on your path forward.
And now feel your entire body in a deep state of relaxation and just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation in your own personal inner sanctuary,
A place where you go to feel safe,
Secure,
Grounded and a deep sense of peace and inner love for yourself and all of life around you.
And now bring your awareness back to your breath and just allow your body to breathe for you with no effort whatsoever.
As we prepare to conclude this meditation,
Take one final deep breath,
Allowing the peace and tranquility of your garden to infuse every cell of your being.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to the present moment,
Carrying with you a sense of calmness,
Clarity and self-assurance that will light your way wherever you go.
