Welcome to this morning meditation for when you're feeling sick.

I'm Sarasinac Roche coming to you from my home office in Switzerland and I'll be your guide today.

If you're feeling unwell,

I hope that this meditation is here to help you embrace self-care,

Slow down and honor your body's need for rest and healing.

Always go ahead and find a comfortable position,

Maybe you're nestled in your bed,

Curled up on the couch,

Or just lying down on a mat or on the floor,

Listen to what your body craves today.

Now gently close your eyes if that feels safe and take a deep breath in,

Breathe in a sense of warmth and comfort and as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Worry or heaviness that might be lingering in your body.

And now just let your breath find its own gentle rhythm,

Allowing each inhale to bring in soothing energy and each exhale to wash away discomfort and stress.

Now bring your awareness to your body and feel the soft surface beneath you,

Supporting you like a warm hug.

Pay attention to your body,

How does it feel today?

Acknowledge any discomfort but also recognize the strength within you.

Breathe deeply into any areas that feel tense or sore,

Sending relaxation and healing energy to those spaces.

Imagine your breath blowing in like a gentle wave,

Comforting and nurturing and as you exhale let go of any heaviness,

Allowing your body to feel lighter and more at ease.

As you breathe,

Remind yourself that being unwell is an invitation to slow down and take care of yourself.

This moment is a reminder to listen to your body and give it the love and attention it deserves.

Inhale deeply,

Embracing the idea that rest is part of your healing process and exhale,

Releasing any frustration or impatience you may feel about not being at your best.

Know that it's okay to take this time for yourself.

Your body is working hard to restore balance and health.

This time is not a sign of weakness.

It's an opportunity to nurture yourself and reconnect with what you truly need.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling yourself with the energy of compassion and self-love and exhale and feel your body becoming more at ease,

Allowing healing to flow through you.

And now,

Visualize a soft,

Glowing light surrounding you,

Comforting warmth that brings you peace.

This light represents your inner strength and the love you have for yourself.

With each breath,

Feel this light expand,

Wrapping you in comfort and safety.

Inhale,

Embracing the healing energy that comes from within and exhale,

Letting go of any negativity or self-judgment.

You deserve this time to heal and by honoring it,

You honor yourself.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine that with each inhale,

You're inviting in more comfort,

More warmth and more love.

And with each exhale,

You're releasing the weight of illness and discomfort.

You are worthy of care,

Of slowing down and of feeling better.

Let this moment be a gentle reminder that it's okay to prioritize your well-being.

Take a few more deep,

Nourishing breaths,

Breathing in and out,

In and out.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the room,

Wriggling your fingers and toes,

And then gently open your eyes and embrace the day with kindness and compassion for yourself.

You are enough,

Even if you're sick and you are on your way to feeling better.

Namaste.

Welcome back.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

I really do hope you're feeling better very soon.

And if you'd like to kick off your day with another meditation tomorrow,
