Jackie's response: Ruben, Thank you for this kind and generous invitation to meet a presence within me that is without chatter, opinion, judgment. Wow - it was a quiet spacious landing into peace and stillness. That was unexpected and welcomed. It was a blessing and such a comfort. My use of metaphor is unleashed - and my brain does that thing of finding words to describe what happened! I arrived in a 'chapel of rest'. Not a place where one rests (in peace) when they are dead! No my 'chapel' was a place of peace, where I was truly alive and meeting stillness and a spacious loving heart. Life, will keep happening and it's a comfort to imagine I have the 'steadiest ship' always available, and guiding me in the stormiest seas of life, towards my loving spacious heart. Thank you for sharing your light, experience and wisdom.
