Play In Your Show About Your Life
In this lesson, you'll try something fun - pretending that you're starring in an episode of your very own show. Give your episode a title, and that title will become the theme of your day. Notice as you play out your episode by living your day, how that chosen theme starts to emerge. It's an amazing and fun exercise to shift your perspective.
Transcript
Imagine that you are playing out a day on your show and it's called My Life.
You're playing the one that's called My Life because your life,
Okay?
And your episode just needs a title.
So you decide the title of your episode that you are playing that your life story of this episode is going to be about.
So maybe the title is A Great Day.
The Greatest Day or Wonderful News,
You know?
You decide what's the title of today's episode of My Life and you of course are the starring role.
So you decide the title and then just go live your life and know that that title is the theme of your day.
Every time we watch one of an episode of some drama or something and it has a title,
Something about that title is going to be incorporated into the story as like the theme of that or something that happens in the story.
So make it yours today,
Okay?
That is your assignment.
Decide the My Life story for you,
For your episode today and what it's going to be called.
And really try to take a few moments to get into the idea that today you are playing in your show.
You've got the lead role.
It's all about you and it's all focused on you and your episode is going to be called whatever you decide.
So choose the name of your episode and play it today.
And you know,
Maybe make some notes at the end of the day about how that went or pay attention during the day and notice when that theme starts to weave its way into your actual day events or how it feels or whatever it is that you decided,
Okay?
All right.
Go for it.
This should really be fun.
I hope you're having a blast and really loving this experience.
