Right here, Right now. Does your mind often stray to the future or to the past? We are often times worrying about what happened in the past or what will happen in the future. For this short meditation lets be here, together. There is only one moment that ever truly exists and its right here, right now.

Hello,

Welcome to this meditation.

Just find a comfortable space for yourself and settle down.

Closing your eyes,

Just noticing the darkness inside your eyelids.

When you're ready,

Just bringing your awareness to your whole system.

Just checking in on it,

Exploring whatever area comes to you.

There could be various different thoughts running through your mind,

Or various different sensations running through your body.

Just noticing the processes happening as they are.

And to be aware we are not striving to be these things.

It's just to simply be.

There's no plan,

Or method,

Or structure to becoming aware.

Natural awareness,

Or fluid motion,

Everything coming and going naturally.

It's just there.

It's not something you can ever achieve,

Or strive for.

It's just there when you're fully here.

There's absolutely nothing to strive for.

To strive is to set a goal,

To do something and get a particular result in the near future.

The future never comes,

And the past is long gone.

We are not in the near future.

We are right here,

Right now.

Just taking a couple of more moments to be here.

Just gently being aware of yourself.

And as this meditation comes to an end,

Just stretching our bodies,

Moving around a little bit.

And when we are ready,

Opening our eyes.

Thank you for listening to this meditation.

Although this is a very gentle meditation, it doesn’t slip into ‘nothingness’, I still felt very present in the words. Thank you, Nathan, for sharing this 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I found this meditation to really help in making me feel grounded today 😌. I really liked the quote “The past is long gone, and the future never comes”- it is a gentle reminder that all we really have is the present moment. Thank you for guiding me to a space of peace today 🩷
