Hello everyone,

Can you allow your pain to flow through you?

Feeling every little bit without resistance or wanting to change?

Your pain is your pain,

No different to how excitement is your excitement,

Or your joy is your joy.

Have you ever tried to get rid of your excitement or your joy?

Trying to change or get rid of your pain only further increases your resistance to your pain,

Further increases the anxiety and stress you have around your pain.

Unify with your pain,

It's your friend doing you a service and trying to protect you,

Creating a healing response inside your body for whatever is going on.

Your body is extremely intelligent,

Thousands of years of evolution to get where you are now.

Your genes have survived these maladaptions through time.

Your body has the ability to heal and self-cleanse if you can just let it be.

Give the body a chance,

Things naturally change,

You don't need to force change on it.

Forcing change will only increase the strain and anxiety inside yourself.

Tensing up your body and muscles around that area,

Can you let go?

Can you trust your own body even a little bit?

It is the greatest survivor when given a chance,

A chance to grow,

A chance to change,

A chance to flow.

Similarly,

Give your pain a chance,

A chance to work its beautiful magic,

The sensation of pain dancing around your system.

They are nothing but sensations,

It doesn't go further than that.

Your body hasn't failed you,

It's actually just doing its job.

There may be a rhythm to your pain,

A pulsation or a throbbing element,

A flow to it,

Like a sensational ballerina dancing without a care in the world.

Notice,

Experiment with your pain,

It is you.

I love this approach to pain. It's so easy to just try and fight against it and seeing it as an enemy when is chronic. Thank you very much for this meditation, very helpful.
