Hello friend,

Welcome to this meditation where we will embark on a journey of self love,

Overcoming shame and emotional eating along the way.

In this meditation you are going to go beyond your shame,

Releasing any repressed emotions you may have around food,

Allowing yourself to feel free,

Happy and lighter than ever before.

I understand you may be having a tough time today,

It's ok,

I'm here to offer you support and guidance,

Just being open to relax and bring yourself inwards,

Not being concerned about anything in particular from the environment around you,

Just being here for the next few moments,

Just listening to the sound of my voice,

You don't need to do anything but listen.

We are going to go easy on ourselves for the next while,

Moving out with the old and in with the new,

Just taking a big deep breath now,

Breathing in compassion for yourself and breathing out,

Releasing any worries,

Doubts or stress.

This breath is the start of something new,

Something fresh,

Something positive,

It kick starts a positive chain reaction within your mind,

Body and spirit.

Let's take another deep breath,

Expanding on that reaction,

Breathing in compassion for yourself and breathing out,

Out any stress,

Worries or doubts.

Even better,

I can feel the positive reaction happening inside of you.

One more breath,

Breathing in,

Breathing in compassion for yourself and breathing out,

Breathing out any stress,

Worries or doubts.

Notice that this breath has created a beautiful image in your mind,

You notice you are sitting in an ancient forest beside an old temple,

The sun is shining on a wonderful summers day,

You can vaguely smell some incense burning in the distance,

This smell is so relaxing,

It's just the right level of intensity for your nostrils,

It gently reminds you to go easy on yourself,

You have travelled far to get here,

It has not been an easy road,

Full of ups and downs,

A wise person sits in the old temple next to you,

They have been waiting for you for a long time,

You are tentative to go in,

But the relaxing smell of incense calms you,

You have a strong urge to follow the smell,

The smell is coming from the old temple.

As you go inside,

You notice that there is no incense stick,

This smell seems to be coming from the wise person sitting in the middle of the room,

This person's appearance is up to you,

It's specific to you,

The person smiles warmly and gestures you to take a seat,

They are so happy that you have taken this journey,

You are so calmed by this person's presence,

So relaxed.

As you sit down,

You touch the wise person's hand,

Surprisingly a warm sensation occurs between you's,

To your delight,

A red energy is transferred into both of your palms,

The wise person looks at you and says,

This is for you my friend,

This red energy is the most unconditionally loving energy in existence,

And it's right in your palms,

The wise person asks you to touch your chest,

As you do,

The red energy that was given to you extends out from your palms,

Like roots of compassion and into your heart,

Warming up this area,

Feeling for this area,

An area of such complexity,

Both physically and emotionally,

The act of touching your heart shows that you are here for yourself during this time,

The wise person notices that you have been going through a tough time with emotional eating,

And asks you to bring up your shame right now,

Now,

Notice your whole body,

Where is the shame located,

If you can give a specific location,

Do,

Being aware,

Touch the area where you feel the sensation of shame the most,

Allowing your compassionate hands to transfer loving red energy into this area,

Soothing and relaxing,

It's okay,

You're here for yourself and this sensation,

Transferring love,

Rubbing the area if you wish,

The wise person then says,

The shame that you are feeling can lead you into a vicious cycle of hatred for oneself,

A vicious cycle of eating to ease stress,

Feeling guilty and shameful,

Which increases your stress once again,

And eating to reduce the increased stress,

This can go around and around,

The wise person prompts you to use the compassionate red energy inside your palms,

To cope with the shame,

And any stresses that may cause you to eat for emotional reasons,

Caring for yourself in this moment,

Loving yourself,

Notice this red compassionate energy go into your body,

Going into the root of the shame,

The root of your stress,

This energy is unconditionally loving,

The root of your stress,

This energy is unconditionally loving,

Whatever it runs into,

It swarms it with love,

Warmness and acceptance,

Filling your body with love,

You deserve to be nice to yourself,

You deserve to accept yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

This red energy fills your whole being,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

You deserve to love yourself,

This red energy fills your whole body,

Filled with love,

Filled with healing,

Feel it my friend,

The wise person then nods and smiles at you,

They say,

With this red energy,

You can receive an abundance of unconditional love,

Self love heals all,

This is now yours,

Yours to keep,

Yours to use,

Yours to love oneself,

The wise person speaks one last message before you leave,

Love thyself,

This is the forgotten power,

You may still go through ups and downs,

This is the path of the warrior,

And you have been chosen for this path,

You have an ultimate capability,

A capability that nobody can take away from you,

The ability to love thyself,

That is your ultimate power,

With this last message,

You can feel the red energy inside your body intensify,

Getting brighter,

Brighter,

Brighter,

Brighter,

Brighter,

Releasing anything that does not serve you,

Releasing,

Releasing,

Releasing,

You feel such compassion for yourself now,

Such love,

Walking out of the temple,

Smiling at the wise person for the last time,

Taking this red energy with you,

It's rooted in your palms now,

It can never be taken away from you,

Taking a big deep breath,

Breathing in compassion,

Breathing out any last stress or tension,

Brilliant,

Coming back to your body,

Moving it around,

Moving it around,

Waking yourself back up,

Coming back to the world,

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes,

With compassion in your heart,

And a courage in your spirit,

Anytime you feel stressed,

Worried,

Or feeling like using food as a coping mechanism,

Come back to this meditation,

The wise person will always be here for you,

And so will I,

All the power to you,

Look after yourself,
