Marcello has been practicing meditation and hatha yoga since December 1999, having learned these precious activities in India, Nepal, Thailand and beyond. His meditations tend to be quite simple and straightforward, a blend of what he has experienced in numerous Vipassana retreats and the practice of Self-Enquiry as taught by Ramana Maharshi, the great sage of the 20th century. Lately he has experienced the benefits of bhakti yoga as experienced while listening to Krishna Das, Bhagavan Das and others. In addition to his dedication to the spiritual journey, Marcello is also a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). He teaches to his clients these practices (meditation, yoga, etc.) as a way to develop mental clarity, self-accountability and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations. Marcello sincerely believes that the world would be a better place if more people connected at a deeper level to their true selves by practicing consistently some spiritual practice that fits their temperaments.
