Addie deHilster is a trained Mindfulness Meditation teacher and Mindful Movement specialist. Her passion is teaching movement practices that "unlock" mindfulness skills, and helping students gain traction in their meditation practice so they can be more present for their lives. She draws from her long-term experience practicing Buddhist Insight Meditation, as well as Yoga, Qigong, and Somatic movement modalities. She is the creator of the Moved to Meditate Podcast and offers an online Mindful Movement Teacher Training. As a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, she has taught accessible movement practices for students with challenges such as chronic pain, arthritis, cancer, and insomnia. Addie also owned and operated a community yoga studio in Los Angeles for over 5 years. She is always inspired by the beauty and power of nature, and particularly enjoys drawing on seasonal themes to inspire her Yin Yoga and Qigong classes.

This is an excellent & comprehensive course - Addie’s wisdom is thorough, yet digestible. The course encompasses some beautiful theory on the water element & a variety of practices - QiGong forms, acupressure explorations, a Yin Yoga shape & journal contemplations. All in 6 days! I am already wanting to repeat the course to integrate the lessons & deepen my understanding. I landed in one of Addie’s live practices here on IT & have enjoyed the live sessions, guided library of practices & now this course. A wonderful teacher. Thank you Addie. We are nature 🙂🍃

I loved doing this course. It is full of easy tools and practices to let go of stress and everything that no longer serves us. I loved Addie's gentle and soothing voice guidance and suggestions for reflections. This course has an underlying autumn theme. However, I found the teachings, tools and reflections to be universal. And so I thoroughly enjoyed doing this course in the Australian summer heat.
