Sleep As A Divine Being The Deserved Honour And Reverence

This lesson is to expand your relationship with sleep beyond a fundamental biological need. Sleep is one of the three pillars of health according to the colossal body of knowledge known as Ayurveda: The Science of Life. Thus, sleep is the foundation of every physical organ, system and cell, a pillar for all mental processes, and a consciousness state to connect with spiritual realms. Learn Ayurveda’s three pillars of health and shift your deserving power from conventional sleep to regenerative sleep. Access wisdom to understand what actually is proper healthy sleep, and what does the most rejuvenative sleep that YOU can access look like. Lesson 2

When You Sleep Is What Matters

It is NOT about how many hours you sleep, but WHEN you sleep. This knowledge talk teaches you about the different elements, energies and biological mechanisms that manifest and that are active at different times of the night. You will gain greater self-awareness about the best times to sleep, what parts of your body are regenerating according to the time of night, all which will help improve your sleep and self-honour. This is ancient Ayurvedic science 101, known for millennia, but interestingly, has been very similarly proven in the recent 2017 Nobel prize for medicine: awarded for research in “Circadian Medicine”. Following, lesson three will address two specific and crucial bedroom environmental factors for optimal sleep: darkness and ventilation.

This lesson you will learn easy-to-implement, small tweaks to refine for your bedroom, which will have a significant impact on optimising your sleep. How to attune electronic devices and the subtle lights and the curtains/blinds and windows of your bedroom to improve melatonin production (the “king of hormones” that has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect). Sleep Hygiene: Electromagnetic Fields

In this lesson, you will learn about a subtle yet extremely influential factor on sleep and overall health: the frequencies coming from electro-magnetic fields (EMF). Bed-Time Milk Elixir

This lesson teaches a traditional Ayurvedic sleep-inducing self-massage to do before sleep. Listen to this audio guide while you nourish yourself with this 5-7 minute head-and-feet massage. According to the classical teachings on Ayurvedic body-treatments, this massage helps you fall asleep quickly and promotes a deep sleep that prolongs for the while night.
