Welcome to this guided sleep meditation,
Called Short and Sweet and Then to Sleep.
Let's begin.
And all the way through to sleep time of course.
So before you close the eyes,
Begin to adjust your pillow.
So that it will cushion your head perfectly.
You may wish to fluff it up,
Give it a good squeeze and make it grow indeed.
Get really comfortable,
Snuggle down into bed.
Then check the body and begin from the feet.
A tensing up,
Hold the feet stiff for a mere second.
Tense the legs a second.
Work up the body bit by bit.
Tense all parts of the abdomen.
Tensing all the way up to the face.
And the arms,
The hands.
Tensing a mere second.
Before you release and soften it all.
Connect to your breath and hold still now for 7 seconds.
Release and feel the breath long and smooth.
Let's close one eye.
Thank you.
Closing the next eye.
Thank you.
Let the eyes roll inside.
Left,
Then right,
Then up,
Then down,
Then settle,
Connecting to balance.
Let's have some fun.
Let's prep this bedroom and paint it white with that imagination.
Every one freshly painted a soft white.
And the ceiling matching in sheer whiteness.
The floor a blank fluffy carpet of white.
Lastly let the pillow go pure white.
Everything that is touching you for sleep is now turning soft white.
Hold the breath still for 7 seconds now.
Exhale,
Exhale my white sleeping room.
Let's honour the night sky of stars.
So physically far away yet constantly there each bedtime.
Yet visually they are there shining right into your very eyes.
Amongst the night sky a silvery white moon and white clouds float effortlessly.
Invite in the bedroom the ceiling lighting up with a galaxy of stars.
Let your breathing gently connect to starlight,
Silvery moonlight and floating white clouds.
Gently connecting to starlight,
Silvery moonlight and floating white clouds.
Breathe it all in.
Let it travel around the body.
In and out the body.
What a perfectly wonderful way to enter sleep.
Softly breathing starlight into the mind.
Such tenderness and care.
Let it dissolve anything that needs releasing.
Let it dissolve any pain and replace body and mind with lightness,
Whiteness,
Softness and peace.
Become a star that is all about shining all the way through the night and bedtime.
Recharge all of yourself.
Sleep in this wonderful way.
Let the body get rid of any heavy note on the heart or mind and reconnect to lightness.
A floating feeling rising in all of you.
Maybe you can become a star in the sky.
Being at one with yourself and at one with all.
That will meet the morning star on a new day.
Feel a oneness connected to the galaxy of star.
