Hi and welcome to your practice.
I invite you to come into a comfortable seat,
Whatever that means for you today,
And as you find your posture to let your body begin to root into the earth.
Letting your body root into the earth as you establish connection to the rhythm of your inhales and exhales.
A breath that isn't controlled or dictated,
But is steady and anchored enough to further enhance your body rooting into the earth.
When we can feel anchored in this energetic way,
Then often the comings and goings of the practice,
But also the comings and goings of our ever-changing psychological state,
Don't seem so weighty or final.
As the breath anchors you in your central channel,
Begin to invite the direct and personal feeling of yourself and sense your body as a mountain,
Anchored,
Steady,
Solid,
Rooted deep into the earth.
And feel that you dwell inside of this still mountain.
And sense how residing in the groundedness of this mountain you can not only tolerate,
But maybe also accommodate or perhaps appreciate all of the psychological weather.
Let this mountain of stillness guide your practice today.
Let it show you when to go deeper and when to back off.
Noticing the rhythm of your breath and noticing the steadiness of this mountain.
Allowing it to hold you,
To anchor you in safety and instability as you journey deep into your heart to reveal and find words for your most secret dreams.
Dreams of a life that is made of thriving.
What would that look like?
How would it be?
How would it feel?
Allow this mountain of stillness to become a safe space for your innermost exploration of the truest heart desires.
And notice how as you breathe,
As you ground,
As you play in stillness there is enough space in you for all of it.
For the curiosity,
The joy,
The excitement,
The fear,
The sorrow.
All weather allowed to move in the stillness of this mountain.
Bring your palms gently to your heart space as you take a soft inhale through the nose.
Clearing through the mouth and taking a bow to the sacred space of your heart.
Taking a bow to the safe space of your body.
The mountain always offering the refuge of stillness.
Thank you for sharing your practice with me.
Namaste.
