Transcript

Yoga Spirit Center is proud to present the Eternal Breath series of Yoga Eternal to enhance your practice of pranayama.

Pranayama in a yogic point of view is the science of breath and consists of a series of exercises intended to bring more oxygen to the blood and to the brain and to control prana or the vital life energy in the body.

By performing pranayama many types of diseases can be cured and most importantly one learns to control the breath.

Moreover,

Because pranayama breath is the important means of supplying our body and its various organs with prana or oxygen,

It is absolutely vital for our survival.

The rhythm and frequency of our breath affects our blood pressure.

Through long exhalations and deep inhalations we can regulate and lower the pressure with which the blood enters the arteries that lead to the heart and lungs.

The lowered pressure in the heart is dispersed into the abdomen creating a more stable condition for the blood to circulate back into the heart.

When we have deep and strong breathing,

Toxins decrease in our blood adding more oxygen and creating better circulation.

Our body feels lighter and full of energy.

This type of breathing helps relax our heart and mind and quiets our nervous system creating a healthy energy balance.

The purpose of this CD is to help you breathe by eliminating your need to count your breaths.

It is measured music so that you will know when and how long to inhale and exhale.

We suggest you use this CD at a very low volume and have found that using headphones can greatly enhance the sound quality.

This CD can be used in either a lying or sitting position.

Lying down will be more efficiently effective in most cases.

This CD is measured to 6,

3,

12,

3.

The soft bell sound is for breathing retention while the music is timed for the 6 count and the 12 count breathing.

That is inhale to the count of 6,

Retain for the count of 3,

Exhale to the count of 12 and retain for 3 counts.

There is a remarkable difference between your experience of the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes.

Your practice will continuously deepen and strengthen in each session and over time.

To understand some of the effects of this practice,

Yoga Spirit Center suggests that you practice for 30 minutes each day for 30 days.

And please remember,

The more you practice,

The more transformative your practice becomes.

Make sure you're in a comfortable position that will be best for you for the next 30 minutes.

Blowing all the air out through your nose,

Begin your inhalation after this pause.

This is perfect for me because I struggle to fully exhale. The 12 count exhale was, for me, quite difficult, which was perfect for training my diaphragm, lungs and mind to exhale. I highly recommend this meditation for anyone studying pranayama.

Wow, what a wonderful way to start the day! The hypnotic music and rhythm helped me to gently deepen and lengthen my breath with barely any effort. It had a very calming effect on me. Around 4 minutes to the end it suddenly stopped and logged me out, that was a little weird, but I truly enjoyed this practice! Thank you! 🙏🏼

When I do this exercise daily I feel much more calm and sleep better. The music works very well. I use this regularly and can easily tell the difference now between the in breath music and the out breath. Thanks for this helpful pranayama.
