Hi,

It's me,

Carrie B.

I've been teaching yoga and the branches for 30 years.

I love it,

And I'm going to love teaching this to you if you don't already know it.

So if you're new,

This is a great one for energy.

Best thing,

Energy.

And if you've practiced it before,

Mine might be just a little bit different.

So you want to sit in your lotus position.

Sit again nice and tall with your spine erect,

One vertebrae stacked on the other,

With the crown of your head reaching to the top of the sky.

And just rest your hands where they feel comfortable.

So again,

This is for energy.

We're going to be doing three short inhalations through our nose,

And one fast,

Longer exhalation through our mouth.

And it sounds like this.

Nice,

Huh?

And it really does bring great energy when you're feeling down,

Tired.

Just don't do it on a full stomach.

So here we go,

We're going to do three rounds of 10,

And there'll be a bell in between each round.

Ready.

Round one.

And round two.

End of round two.

End of round three.

And just a side note,

If you're new to pranayama,

You might get dizzy from this.

So if you get dizzy,

Go back to your normal breathing,

And then come back.

And you know,

The more you practice,

The better you'll be,

And the more energy you'll have.
