
Level 2 Reiki Practice: Connection With All That Is
Use this practice daily to strengthen your connection with Reiki and your awareness of the web of life. Connect to Reiki, and allow it to flow through you with each breath while you expand your awareness of your place in the rich and wonderful web of life. So I'll invite you to be comfortable for this practice.
It can be a relaxing practice,
So make sure your body is placed in a way that's comfortable.
And then we'll just start by sinking Reiki to our breath.
So we're going to work with an energy center called the Tanden,
And the Tanden is located about two finger widths below your belly button,
And a third of the way in.
So just sense into that that energy center now.
You may have worked with it before,
You may not.
That's fine,
Just sense into it,
And whatever you do or don't notice,
That's also fine.
It's enough to place your awareness there.
And then still connected in with the Tanden,
We're going to start breathing Reiki in and out.
So I'm going to invite you on your next in-breath to imagine or invite a stream of gentle golden healing energy in from source,
Down through your crown,
Through your body,
Breathing in all the way to the Tanden.
And as you breathe out,
Just let that energy flow from the Tanden and move around your body.
And every breath that we do for the rest of the practice continue to do that.
So breathing in gentle golden healing energy from source all the way into your Tanden.
Breathing out,
Intending that you're sending that gentle golden healing energy all around your body and energy system.
You might even feel it reaching a bit beyond your body,
That's fine.
Continuing that flow,
Gentle golden healing energy in.
Gentle golden healing energy spreading throughout your whole body and energy system.
Now's a good time,
Held in the Reiki energy,
Which is gentle,
Protective and healing,
To start to become aware of the truth which simply is that we are all connected and that all things,
All that is,
Is connected.
So bringing to mind now the people that are closest to you,
And it's easy to be aware of your connection with them.
Aware of the place that you are,
And once again it's easy to be aware of your connection with the place where you are.
Aware of this moment.
Aware of your connection with this moment,
With this time.
Coming back to that awareness of your connection with your nearest and dearest and aware that they are connected with other people,
Places and times and just realising that through them you are also connected with those people,
Places and times.
And remembering that Reiki is innately protective,
Will keep you safe,
But also that just because you're connected with something doesn't mean that there can't be boundaries there as well.
Sometimes a connection is also a boundary.
And aware once again of your connection with the place that you are,
And knowing that many of the beings have had a connection with this place,
Perhaps passed through it,
Perhaps it's had meaning to them,
And that this place has existed in other times as well,
With other beings and other places that also existed in that time.
Appreciating this already large web of connection.
Aware of this moment and how many other people are also experiencing this moment and what webs of connection do they have as you're connected through this moment.
All the time breathing that gentle golden healing Reiki energy into your tundra.
Breathing out,
Sending that gentle golden healing energy out through your entire body and energy system,
Feeling yourself bathing in this energy.
Really expansively aware of the web of connection,
How you are connected to all that is,
To the people that are connected,
To the people,
To the people,
To the people,
To the places and the times,
To the beings,
All connected.
You are at a center in this web and so is each other being and place and time also a center of this web of interconnectedness.
Breathing Reiki energy in,
Breathing Reiki energy out and just being aware of how amazing it is to be so completely connected with all that is.
Retaining that connection,
That awareness of all the connections you have and all the connections you have that are beyond your awareness and yet still present.
Breathing Reiki energy in,
Breathing out,
Allowing it to flow through your entire body and energy system.
Seated in connection,
And then closing the practice,
Releasing the flow through ourselves,
So giving thanks to the Reiki energy.
And then just closing off,
So letting go of any visualization,
Anything that you've been using to direct the energy and allowing the flow of energy through you to naturally subside.
You might want to brush yourself down,
Just removing any excess energy,
Smoothing your energy field,
That's fine.
And we have had a lot of energy flowing through us so it might take you a few minutes to come back and feel grounded.
I would invite you to make sure you have water handy to drink some water.
If you'd like to come quickly back into your body then having something to eat is a really quick,
Simple way to do that.
Allow yourself to have some time to rest after the practice if you need to,
And just generally take really good care of yourself today.
