Hello dear friend,
How are you today?
Let's take 10 minutes together to float,
To self gently float and relax.
Let's start by lying down.
Find a comfortable place on your bed,
The sofa or even the floor or yoga mat.
Let your arms lay loose on the ground,
Feet apart and gently close your eyes.
Feel how your body is sinking into the mattress,
Sinking into the ground.
And notice how the ground is supporting you,
Carrying you.
Let's bring our attention to the points on our body that touch the ground,
Like your heels,
Your calves,
The back of your thighs,
Your bum,
Your upper back and shoulders,
The back of your head,
Your elbows,
Your hands.
Turn your arms so that the palms of your hands are open to the sky.
Now imagine that the mattress or the yoga mat or the sofa below you dissipates and becomes a cloud,
This beautiful cloud which is carrying you.
Soft,
Gentle,
As if you're lying in this beautiful,
Soft cloud.
And you notice that also your body is becoming more soft,
More gentle,
More fluid almost.
It is as if the cloud and your body are becoming one soft,
Gentle,
Floating organism.
Just here to help you relax.
And float.
There is this sense of lightness,
This sense of airiness,
This sense of light heartness.
And while you're becoming aware of this really gentle feeling within you,
You notice that you on the cloud start to float upwards,
Really slow and gentle,
Really slow and gentle,
Rocking you as if you are a newborn baby.
You start to float upwards.
Oh and notice how good it feels to be uplifted.
And notice how good it feels to be so light hearted that you can float above the trees,
Above the city.
You are just floating in the sky and it feels so good.
You feel that all tension you had in your body was left behind.
Was left behind.
You feel that all the worries you might have had in your heart are left behind.
You feel that all the to-do lists you had in your mind are left behind.
And that is completely okay.
This is your time.
This is your time to relax.
To allow yourself this gentle moment of being connected with yourself.
Allowing yourself to just float and dream a little bit.
Now imagine when you will float back.
When you will float back.
What is it that you would like to do?
What is it that you would really love to do when you come back?
And don't overthink it.
The first thing that pops up,
That's it.
Now you promise yourself that later today,
Maybe immediately after this moment,
Or maybe tonight,
Or maybe tomorrow,
You will honor that need of yours,
That desire,
That wish.
That need of yours,
That desire,
That wish.
And you will allow yourself to receive that for you.
Feel the freedom of floating in the sky.
Feel the freedom of being here just as you are.
And while you are enjoying that,
You feel how you slowly start to descend.
Floating,
Rocking.
Back into your body.
Connecting.
With Earth again,
Feeling your body on the mattress.
Coming back to your body.
You are here right now.
You wonderful,
Lovable,
Worthy being.
And don't forget what you promised yourself.
Now take a moment before you get up again.
And if you're sleepy and you have the opportunity to go to sleep,
Then just take that wonderful nap.
