Hello friends,
This is Femke.
Today I'm going to guide you into a mantra meditation and we're going to use a universal Bj mantra.
So let's begin.
Sit comfortably.
You can sit on a chair if you like,
On the floor doesn't matter,
As long as you're sitting upright and comfortable.
Close your eyes.
Breathe normally.
You can have your back supported if you like.
The important thing is that you're upright,
Relaxed and comfortable.
Now,
Feel whatever sensations are in your body.
We aren't trying to resist anything.
We are letting everything just be as it is.
And take a moment to allow the body to settle down.
Now I'm going to say a simple mantra and you will repeat it back to me.
So hum.
Go ahead.
Good.
So hum.
Repeat it again.
So hum.
Very good.
Now,
Say the mantra together with me.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Softer now.
So hum.
Softer.
So hum.
So hum.
Softer.
So hum.
So hum.
Now continue to repeat the mantra mentally,
Without moving your tongue or your lips.
So hum.
And if a thought comes,
That's okay,
That's really normal.
Just gently favor your mantra.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Feel the silence in between the repetitions of the mantra.
So hum.
So hum.
Don't resist the silence.
Allow yourself to move into the silence.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Let the mantra be as effortless as any other thought.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Lengthen your spine.
Allow the shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your face all to be relaxed.
Be at ease as you notice the sensations of your body.
And now with your eyes downcast,
Whenever you feel ready,
You may slowly open your eyes.
So take your time,
Take as much time as you need.
It was good,
It was easy.
You felt some quietness and some silence.
Not trying to force anything or resist anything.
Just take everything as it comes.
This meditation triggers the mind to move forward towards quietness,
Expansiveness and freeing the mind from its boundaries.
And now we are ready to move back into our day.
