In this mini-course, Femke introduces you to the concept of selfgentleness: radically accepting yourself as the most important person to consistently deserve your own gentleness. You will learn how you can start living with more self-gentleness and you'll learn tools to use to support yourself in this process. This course is perfect for anyone who is ready to be less self-critical and more selfgentle, like previous perfectionists, empaths, and caretakers. The course exists of 4 days, plus 3 bonus tracks to continue your self-gentleness journey also after this course.


Meet your Teacher

Femke E. Bakker, Ph.D. is an inspirational speaker, meditation & self-empowerment teacher. She also works at Leiden University, where she studies leadership, beliefs & meditation. With her background in behavioral science, meditation teaching, the performing arts & her wish to gently self-empower people, Femke knows how to blend her expertise, knowledge and experience into a loving teaching style that makes you feel understood and empowered.

Lesson 1

Day 1 Intending a Life of Self-Gentleness

In this class, Femke explains what self-gentleness is and then guides you in a meditation to set an intention to start living with self-gentleness, starting today.

Lesson 2

Day 2: Tuning In

Femke explains how 'Tuning In' is one of the most important tools to become self-gentle. She then guides you in a meditation in which you will learn what tuning in means to you.

Lesson 3

Day 3 Gratefulness as a tool to feel better

In this class, Femke explains how gratefulness can help us to overcome unpleasant feelings and emotions. She also explains how meditation can help to cultivate feelings of gratefulness. Femke then guides you in a meditation and gratefulness practice.

Day 4 Being more and more self-gentle

In this class, Femke explains how you can continue with the insights of this course and start living with more self-gentleness. She also explains how you can use the bonus tracks with the 2 minute tools for self-gentleness (which you can find in day 5, 6 and 7)

Bonus Track: Tuning In

This is a 2 minute tool to tune in with yourself. Practice this at least once a day for 30 days and notice the shift you'll make towards a more self-gentle life.

Bonus track: Evening Practice

This is a 2 minute tool to use when you are in bed, ready to go to sleep. It will help you to leave the day behind and to prepare yourself for a more lighthearted and self-gentle morning tomorrow.

This is a 2 minute tool to use when you just wake up (and are still in bed). It will help you to wake up with self-gentleness, which will guide you into your day. Try to practice this for 30 days in a row, and see what happens with your perspective on how to be with yourself.
