If you’ve ever understood why clutter happens… but still found yourself staring at the same pile — this course is for you. This is part of my clutter series. You can listen to this course as a stand-alone course or as the 3rd in the series.
Getting organized isn’t about becoming more disciplined or more minimalist. It’s about learning a repeatable sequence that works in real life. In this course, we move from awareness to action — uncovering patterns, updating outdated systems, and building simple structures that last.
You’ll learn how to make quicker decisions, organize without overwhelm, create systems that match your current life stage, and prevent the quiet slide-back that happens after a big clean-up.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about building systems that evolve with you.
Dana Mitchell is a clarity coach, educator, and course creator who supports people navigating crossroads in career, life transitions, and personal growth. Her work focuses on easing overthinking, strengthening self-trust, and helping listeners take practical, grounded steps forward without adding pressure or overwhelm.
With nearly three decades of experience across human resources, leadership development, professional organizing, and operational consulting, Dana has worked alongside individuals and teams during complex decisions, high expectations, and seasons of meaningful change. In both corporate environments and private homes, she has helped clients untangle overwhelm by identifying patterns, streamlining processes, mapping workflows, and creating sustainable systems that actually stick.
Her background in process mapping and building standard operating procedures informs her structured yet human approach: clarity first, then simple action. Whether working with leadership teams or organizing a cluttered space, she brings the same steady lens — understanding what’s underneath before applying solutions on top.
Alongside her professional experience, Dana has trained in modalities including NLP, EFT, TIME Techniques, hypnosis, mindset coaching, Reiki, and Akashic Records. Rather than presenting these as rigid systems, she weaves what is useful into a practical, down-to-earth style that feels supportive and accessible to a wide range of listeners.
On Insight Timer, her talks explore themes such as recurring patterns, emotional pressure, identity shifts, and creating order without perfectionism. She is known for creating a calm, steady space where people can pause, reflect honestly, and reconnect with their next clear step forward.

Lección 1
Why Insight Doesn’t Automatically Clear a Counter
Understanding your clutter patterns is powerful — but insight alone doesn’t move objects. In this session, we explore why indecision keeps piles in place and how small, quick decisions build real momentum. You’ll begin strengthening the decision muscle that turns awareness into action.
Lección 2
When the System Is Outdated
Sometimes it’s not clutter — it’s an old system that no longer fits your life. In this session, we explore how roles, routines, and seasons shift over time — and how to recognize when your space needs a system update. You’ll begin defining what your space should look like, feel like, and function like now.
Lección 3
The “I Don’t Know” Pile
We all have one — the stack, the bin, the chair that holds the undecided. In this session, we address hesitation head-on and introduce the concept of layering “why” to uncover the real root of indecision. You’ll learn how to shrink uncertainty instead of letting it expand.
Lección 4
Second-Guessing, Regret, and the Hold Box
Letting go can trigger a spike of doubt — even when the decision was the right one. In this session, we normalize that reaction and introduce the Hold Box strategy to prevent emotional reversals. You’ll learn how to decide from steady instead of from fear.
Lección 5
The 4 A’s — to organize anything
This is where we go from gathering insight to taking action. In this session, you’ll learn Dana's 4 A’s Process: Assess, Arrange, Assign, and Analyze — a simple, repeatable framework you can use in any space. Organizing becomes less about intensity and more about sequence. I will step you through each step and then hang out and answer your questions in the classroom as you put them in practice.
Lección 6
Stopping the Sliding Back
Organizing isn’t a one-time event — it’s seasonal maintenance. In this final session, we explore how to prevent slow regression and how to update systems as your life evolves. You’ll leave with a clear reset button and a sustainable way to stay responsive without starting over.
