Welcome to the meditation.
I am Dana Mitchell,
Your guide.
And this is a closed eye meditation.
Make sure that you are not driving a vehicle or working any heavy machinery.
You want to be able to lay down flat or sit up straight in a chair and close your eyes so that you can relax.
And we'll get started right now.
Sit back,
Relax,
And close your eyes now.
In a very few moments,
You're going to be more relaxed than you've ever known yourself to be.
I'm going to mention certain parts of your body.
And as I do,
I want you to feel that part begin to relax.
Just feel that part begin to relax now.
In order to help you relax,
I want you to imagine yourself in a wonderfully magical forest.
It's almost nighttime now,
And the sky is a beautiful indigo blue.
Stars are coming out,
And the moon is lighting up in the rich forest trees.
Off in the distance,
You hear the hypnotic sounds of a baffling brook,
And the crickets seem to be lulling you to sleep.
As you lie motionless,
You begin noticing a wonderfully white light just above your head.
And this white light is the most relaxing light you could ever imagine.
And as it begins to lower down around the crown of your head,
You seem to be touched with a desire and a willingness to relax even deeper and deeper and deeper.
With every breath that you take.
Now I want you to imagine yourself standing in this forest,
And at the base of the feet is a beautiful stone stairwell that leads downward into a very safe valley of relaxation.
We're going down the stairs now,
And as I count backwards from 10 to 0,
Each number will take you even deeper and deeper and deeper.
Ten.
Take that first step down.
Nine.
Deeper and deeper.
Eight.
Way down now.
Seven.
Deeper and deeper.
Six.
Deeper.
Feeling very relaxed.
Five.
Deeper and deeper.
Four.
Three.
Going deeper.
Two.
Relax even more that you can't even imagine.
Three.
Going deeper.
Four.
Four.
Four.

Of sparkling,
Pure,
Absolute clean water.
In front of you is a tall waterfall,
The tallest waterfall you've ever seen.
And the water comes down in smooth,
Undisturbed sheets,
Glistening and barely rippling the still water of the pond.
As you move closer,
You begin to see a mirror image in that glassy waterfall.
It is a reflection of the perfect you,
A reflection of perfection.
I'm not talking about the kind of body that society tells us that is perfect.
I'm talking about your own interpretation of where you want to be with regards to your health.
Because whatever that is,
That is just perfect.
That's the reflection of perfection that you see in the waterfall.
Make it attractive inside and outside.
Approach the waterfall.
You stretch your palms outward until they meet those of the reflection of perfection.
Feeling the warm water as your fingertips intersect with that reflection.
Just imagine all of that excess fat in your fingertips being washed away.
As you continue to move forward,
Merging,
Becoming one with your reflection of perfection.
Notice as all of the excess fat washes away from your lower arms,
All the way up to your elbows,
Leaving behind only a healthy,
Vibrant,
Naturally trimmed you.
Taking one more step,
The water begins washing all the excess fat away from your upper arms,
In front of your legs,
Over your torso.
Already you feel lighter and more healthy.
Your posture is now that of a naturally trimmed,
Attractive person.
One more step,
And the water washes comfortably over your face,
Head,
Shoulders,
Torso,
Hips,
Down your legs,
Taking with it all of the excess fat that your body just doesn't need.
And as you take a final step through,
The water cleanses your entire body,
And you find yourself standing at the base of the stairs.
Dry,
Relaxed,
Feeling healthier,
Lighter,
And more beautiful than you've ever felt before.
And you will climb five stairs.
With each stair you climb,
You'll become more and more alert,
Returning to a wakeful state,
Feeling wonderful and refreshed.
One,
Integrating all the suggestions you've received and everything that you've learned.
Two,
Faculties returning now,
And you become more aware of yourself and your surroundings.
Three,
Allowing yourself to gently return to a wakeful awareness.
Four,
Nice,
Big,
Deep breath,
Stretch out your arms and your legs.
And five,
Open your eyes,
Wide awake,
Feeling wonderful and refreshed.
