This I am Enough meditation allows you to step back to the moment you began to tell yourself the story that you were not good enough, smart enough, or at all enough. This recording guides you in letting go of those old trapped emotions that may be continuing to tell that old story. This meditation is accompanied by music and calmly guides you as you identify, release and rewrite those old stories into positive forward focus stories that you are Enough just as you are right now.

Go ahead and sit back and begin to relax.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your chest.

Your hips,

Your legs.

And as you breathe in deeply and blow it out,

You begin to relax from the top of your head all the way down to the bottoms of your feet.

Begin to breathe in and out at your own pace.

And you're recognizing that you're beginning to feel calm all over your body,

Starting at the top of your head,

Slowly moving down through your body as you breathe in and breathe out.

Begin to settle your body and become aware of whatever feelings of tightness you may have in your muscles.

Is there discomfort somewhere?

Is it on the right side or the left side of your body?

Is there an emotion related to this feeling?

Is it ready to step forward?

Now let's give this feeling a ranking between 1 and 10.

And there's no meaning to this other than a placeholder or an indicator of your level of discomfort,

Tension,

Or maybe it's the intensity of this negative feeling that you're having.

In our daily lives,

We can get stuck.

Stuck in details,

Stuck in the negativity of others,

Stuck investing time and energy into people around us that take us for granted.

Stuck in negative events that are happening around us that are not even ours.

Maybe we feel a lack of control or a lack of influence over the situation.

Maybe we feel we didn't do enough,

Aren't enough,

And should have,

Could have,

Or must do more or even be more than we are right now.

Right behind those feelings can come feelings of guilt,

Shame,

Anger,

Sadness,

Or other emotions that we can't even name.

What's the purpose of this negative feeling that I have right now?

There's a purpose,

Isn't there?

As you quiet your body and your thinking mind,

Ask yourself,

What can I learn about this,

This emotion that I have?

Am I ready to let go of this emotional hold?

Am I ready to learn more about why I've been holding on to a moment,

An event,

Or a meaning that my thinking mind has given to this?

And if you're ready to let that go,

I want you to just float back,

Float back into your past to the first time you recall having this feeling.

Let your mind wander and let it float back to that very first moment that you recall having this feeling.

Maybe you don't have a word or a label to put on the feeling,

And that's okay.

Just float back way above it.

You don't need to get into the details.

I just want you to observe this situation.

You're not going to relive it.

You're only reviewing it from a high,

High level.

Looking down on it.

I want you to examine this situation where it all started,

Where you started believing this about yourself and starting to feel this way.

There was a decision that you made here that has affected your belief system for the rest of your life all the way back to now.

So I want you to look.

Was it something that a parent did or someone said to you?

Was it something that happened at school?

Was it somebody you loved,

Trusted,

Something they did to make you feel this way?

I want you to examine this moment,

And I want you to see that however they made you feel and this emotion that came from that,

That that is not your truth.

What's the purpose of this feeling?

Why is it here?

What am I here to learn from it?

What needs to process from that moment?

So that I can let this feeling go.

Like a balloon floating away or the tide carrying away sand after the ocean wave has crashed.

You keep that lesson and let go of the feeling that you no longer need to hold on to.

You don't need it any longer.

You've learned the lesson.

The kinder loving you is ready to let go of that old negative emotion now.

You are now so much older,

Smarter,

And have so much more knowledge and awareness than you had way back when.

Is it that you're strong and resilient?

Is it that you're lovable?

Is it that you're brave?

Is it that their opinion should not affect you because your opinion is the most important?

Is it that it was about them and not you?

But you took on that feeling and told yourself a story that you've held on to,

That you're ready to let go?

Is it that you're incredibly smart or that your body learned something to try and protect you?

But now you're protected.

Now I want you to forgive yourself.

Let go of that situation.

Thank it,

And forgive yourself and just let go.

It's gone now.

Gone,

Gone,

Gone.

Those old emotions that you don't need any longer.

Take these beautiful learnings that your subconscious mind has given you,

And I want you to apply them all the way back to now.

Every situation,

All the way back to now where you felt that old negative feeling.

The voice in your head that tried to tell you that you weren't good enough,

Weren't smart enough,

Didn't do enough.

Because now we know you're strong,

Loved,

Accepted,

And your opinion is the most important.

That you're incredible,

Amazing,

And exactly who you need to be.

Apply these learnings to every situation,

All the way back to today,

And in every situation going forward that you are enough.

You're incredible.

You're loved.

This is the most important and special reason as to why you're here today,

Right now.

And forgive yourself and let that go.

Now I'd like you to tap into how you feel right now,

Relaxed,

Calm,

Comfortable,

How you're feeling in your body.

After releasing that old emotion that you don't need anymore,

You've already let it go.

It's gone.

It's gone now.

Now from one to ten,

What number would you give this amazing person that you are right now?

This new feeling better person that you are right now.

And if it's changed for even a moment,

One little tick on the line,

Then you are taking steps to let that old emotion go.

And if you feel like you have more to learn,

Rewind this recording and listen again.

Or listen again tomorrow whenever you're ready,

Your body will let you know what you need.

And as we close out our conversation today,

This guided meditation help me let go of what happened today and what happened in the past. It really helped me focus on the present moment. I felt so relaxed and at ease after this meditation that I let go of feeling agitated and overwhelmed.

That was amazing, thank you. I couldn’t pinpoint one original source for the emotion, it was from all around my childhood. I saw bits here and there. It was neat to see the lesson, and to release the emotion and the meaning I had given it.
