During this course you will gain skills and knowledge in mental imagery practice. You will learn about the research behind the mental rehearsal process, and how to easily retrain your brain to expect more positivity and success. Naomi will explain how your brain often hunts for the negative, and how to instead seek out positive feelings, thoughts, and experiences. You will be guided through 5 different mental imagery practices to give you a full experience of the process and to demonstrate the various ways it can be applied. You will also be encouraged to develop your own regular mental rehearsal practice to continue working towards your goal upon completion of the course.
I believe that we have the power to heal ourselves when we have the right resources and knowledge. My aim is to provide you with as many self-help tools as I can. I am a holistic counsellor, EFT coach and psychology student from Qld, Australia. I create short, practical, mindfulness/ACT exercises, as well as deeper guided healing and spiritual journeys.

Introduction to Mental Rehearsal and Course Overview
In this lesson, Naomi will explain how and why mental rehearsal works, and how you can use it to achieve your goals. She will detail how mental rehearsal has been proven to work in scientific studies, and also provide an overview of the course structure and lesson content.

Craft your Goal
In this lesson, Naomi will share my personal story of how she has used the practice of mental rehearsal to heal her body, and achieve various goals. Then, she’ll help you get clear about the goal that you want to work on and introduce you to the mental rehearsal technique.
Lección 3
Get Specific to Achieve Success
In this lesson, Naomi will help you get really specific about the steps involved to achieve your goal and the benefits of using specific details in your mental rehearsal practice.
Lección 4
Positive Emotions
In this lesson, you will learn how to elevate and expand your emotions so that you can dwell in their power and make the most of everything they have to offer. Naomi will explain how and why to use this important ingredient of mental rehearsal.
Lección 5
Power Imagery
In this lesson, Naomi willl help you to explore the concept of power imagery and I’ll guide you through a comprehensive practice to help you to access all of your deepest potential.
Lección 6
Rehearse your Day
In lesson 6, Naomi will teach you how to use mental rehearsal to visualise your day so that you can face any challenge that arises, while staying on track toward your goals and have the best possible day every day.

Thoroughly enjoyed and grew immeasurably by participating in the exercises Naomi presents in this course. This is a concise and clear lesson on the techniques and practice of visualization. The resulting dramatic effects it has had on my self esteem and outward life expression has proven dramatic. I have completed actions that previously had me stymied in fear and accomplished goals that were only vague dreams prior to the course.

Really enjoyed the course. I've been using visualisation for sometime now to help work towards goals but i found the course to be full of extra hints, tips techniques and over all an excellent boost to what I already do. Years ago I did this, unknowingly, when facing my first canoe experience, only at the time I thought of it as simple daydreaming, which it was and still is, when you think about it! My story with this course -
I am currently writing my comprehensive examination for my PhD in psychology, and while we are given a good chunk of time to write the exam (almost a month), the questions are incredibly challenging to do justice and demonstrate the requisite knowledge and skills in that amount of time. I'm making good progress but time is running short, and one of my biggest issues has been extreme difficulty working in the open space where my desk is, prone to disruption either overt or just from the sounds of the household in motion.
I cannot continue staying up all night so I have a quiet environment, and I have been concerned about how I will finish in time. Mental rehearsal is indeed effective, but I had only been using it on a very limited basis - mostly just that end sense of completion as a goal. I've been using a lot of brainwave entrainment and sleep affirmations to help move me along.
The light bulb went off over my head during the second session. I realized that visualizing the end goal was insufficient. What really lit the fire under me was the specific instruction to visualize my hands doing what needed to be done to achieve my goal. I had never done that before, and WOW was it effective! Turns out the attention to detail in every stage is equally as important, if not more so, than simply picturing the goal. (At least for me.)
My only problem right now is that I was staying up late to type and opted to take a break to finish this course. It's so motivated and invigorated me that I just realized it's almost 4 am, and I have a dental appointment in a few hours! I need to get some rest, but feel so energized to write that it's going to be a real challenge to sleep.
I'll use the downtime to remind myself of the neurological cleansing effect that sleep has to rejuvenate the brain, pop on some sleep meditations to continue this trend, and do my mental rehearsal as I wind down so it settles in and is forefront in my mind when I wake up.
My original goal (which has since passed, unmet) was to finish and submit this exam last night. I got super motivated yesterday afternoon, with a writer's block breaking down, but the interruptions got to me.
My new goal is to finish and submit by Friday night. It is certainly feasible, if I can just get my work done during the day. My mental rehearsal will include tuning out the daily distractions and being able to return to focused attention quickly after disruptions like having to take the dogs outside or phone calls.
Thank you so much for this fantastic course, just the right size and duration as to not seem too intimidating and also to be put into immediate, effective practice.
