Welcome to this moment.
Allow yourself to really soften,
Closing your eyes if you'd like.
Take a deep breath in to really sink into your body,
Your heart.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Feel your awareness just move away slowly from your mind,
Shifting out of the thinking mind and into the feeling heart.
I invite you to take both of your hands gently over your heart and begin tapping gently.
Tapping your heart with your fingertips,
Awakening your heart,
This feeling part of your body.
Tapping your collarbones,
Your chest,
Your heart space,
Letting this tapping soothe you and encourage the heart to open,
To feel.
There's no right or wrong way to do this,
Awakening,
Allowing the heart to open to feel.
Letting your attention move to your heart,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Keep tapping gently,
Eventually allow your hands to soften,
Palms open.
Notice what feelings are asking to be felt,
Can you label the emotions that are swirling around your heart?
With a gentle,
Kind curiosity,
Noticing if grief is present,
Joy,
Excitement,
Letting all these complex emotions breathe,
As you embrace your emotions,
You give them space.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale,
Let it go,
Choose to stay here.
Choose to settle in a little longer with what you're feeling,
Just sit with it,
Sit with it all,
Maybe allow yourself to be audible,
A big sigh out the mouth,
Maybe you need to scream,
Maybe you need to cry,
Let yourself feel your emotions fully,
Do not hold back my friend.
It is safe to feel,
To feel is to be human,
To feel is to be all the way alive.
Steady your inhale,
Steady your exhale,
There's a quote that says,
I stopped resisting,
I stopped the unpleasant feelings and accepted that happiness has nothing to do with feeling good all the time.
How you express your emotions is what matters,
No judgment,
Just allowing,
Embracing.
In breath,
Notice how your feelings feel now,
Maybe a little softer,
There's so much freedom in feeling,
Steady your inhale,
Steady your exhale,
If it feels right to you,
Wrapping your arms around you,
Give yourself a hug,
Feel your own loving touch,
Your own support,
Whisper,
Whisper something you need to hear,
Give yourself a gentle squeeze,
On your exhale release your arms down,
To feel is to be alive,
May you continue to welcome in all feelings,
Bring awareness to the ground,
The cushion beneath you,
Maybe feeling a little lighter,
A little more calm,
Blinking your eyes open if they were closed,
Only when you're ready,
Take your sweet time and go do something really kind for you,
Maybe going outside,
Maybe making yourself some tea or coffee,
Maybe journaling,
Keep supporting yourself through all the feelings,
One more collective breath in,
