Shelby Leigh has been teaching meditation for over 20 years, drawing inspiration from her own practice in both the Insight and Vajrayana traditions. A certified Mindfulness Facilitator through UCLA, she is also a somatic psychotherapist, consultant, and Licensed Professional Counselor. Shelby teaches online and on retreat, offering a grounded blend of compassion, depth, and practicality. Her approach weaves trauma-informed mindfulness, somatic practices, attachment theory, and nervous system tending into inclusive, neuro-affirming spaces where sensitive and neurodivergent people can feel deeply seen and supported. Away from teaching, Shelby is nourished by nature and adventure—road-tripping down dirt roads, rafting rivers, midnight canoeing under the stars, or flying somewhere tropical. She’s equally at home writing memoirs, taking long naps, chasing sunsets, and asking herself often: “What is the most loving thing I can do in this moment?”
