"Things On The Inside" combines the power of imagination, pretending, being kind, and mindfulness practice. It aims to help kids be more willing to turn towards exciting opportunities and challenges as their lives unfold before them. At the start of each day, there’s a chance for your little one to practice connecting with the little voice inside their tummy. Every day, there is a lesson about some of the things we experience on the inside, some of them pleasant, and some of them not so pleasant, and how these are completely normal human experiences that we all have from time to time. Then, there’s an exploration of a particular life area that is important to them, something that excites them. There is one important life area for each of the seven days that make up this course. At the end of each day, they will get to take a ride home in a friendly, fluffy, white cloud that teaches them a particular way to practice being calm and content. There is a range of simple insights here that are repeated throughout this mini-series. This is done intentionally, so as to gently drip-feed these essential life skills, that can help your little one thrive in life, despite going through the challenges that they will eventually face at some point. With your little one becoming more aware of the little voice inside their tummy, it's my hope that it will pave the way for them to grow up practicing an essential life skill: The art of making space for the things on the inside that we experience that are not so nice. In doing so, they will be more able to turn towards exciting opportunities and challenges as their lives unfold before them. "Things On The Inside" is also about using the wonder and wisdom of intuition, so as to learn and grow towards creating a life that is full of these opportunities. Ultimately, this course is designed to help you and your little one to be part of the positive change that’s going on in the world. It’s happening right now. It just depends where we focus our attention.
Reuben Lowe Founded digital platform 'Mindful Creation,' as well as the non-profit for young people called 'ACT on it'. Specializing in mindfulness-based therapies, he works at one of the largest health clinics in the Southern Hemisphere, and is passionate about empowering others to be part of the change that’s taking place in our world.

Things That Are Fun
This is going to be fun. Sometimes, we are going to imagine. Sometimes, we are going to pretend. Today is a very important lesson because you get to meet the little voice inside your tummy. A very good friend that you can always trust, even when you feel confused. Feeling confused is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. Then, you get to explore "things that are fun." Things that are fun are about doing stuff that makes us feel excited, playful, and happy. You then fly high in the sky to explore things in your life that are fun. Then, you finish with a ride home in a friendly, fluffy, white cloud. This cloud has a word on its belly. It teaches you how to experiment with being calm and content.

Things That Are Good For Me
In this session, you listen to your special friend, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we feel frustrated. Frustration is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things that are good for me." We need to take care of ourselves, especially when mum and dad are not around. Things that are good for me are things that you can do to be kind to yourself, to look after yourself. After exploring this, you finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud that teaches you another special tip.

Things That I Want To Create
On Day 3, you listen to your special friend again, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we feel sad. Sadness is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things that I want to create." Sometimes, we need to think extra special thoughts to create things. This could be like creating a toy, or a camp, or a drawing, or a painting. These are sometimes called hobbies. They are activities we do for fun, and sometimes we learn from doing them. After exploring this, you finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud. It has another word upon its belly. It teaches you how to experiment with being calm and content.

Things That I Want To Know About
On Day 4, you listen to your special friend again, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we feel angry. Feeling angry is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things that I want to know about." Knowing more about things is when we learn. Sometimes, we may have thoughts that say that learning is boring, but actually, learning can be fun if it’s something that we really want to know about. After exploring this, you finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud that teaches you another great tip that you can use whenever you need it.

Things In Kindness
On Day 5, you listen to your special friend again, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we feel hurt. Feeling hurt is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things in kindness." These are kind things that we do for other people. Being kind to other people makes us feel better and helps improve our health too. After exploring this, you finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud. It has another word upon its belly. It teaches you another way to experiment with being calm and content.

Things I Can Do For My Friends
On Day 6, we listen to your special friend again, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we have unhelpful thoughts. Unhelpful thoughts are things on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things I can do for my friends." This is about remembering some of the people in our lives that we care about that are good friends. Sometimes, we can forget just how good these people are because we get so busy in this very busy world. After exploring this, you finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud that teaches you another amazing tip.
Lektion 7
Things I Can Do For My Family
On our final day, we listen to your special friend again, that little voice inside your tummy. The little voice is always there for us, even when we don’t feel good. Not feeling good is a thing on the inside that everyone has sometimes. In the mini-lesson today, high in the sky, you explore "things I can do for my family." This is about remembering some of the people in our family that we care about very much. Sometimes, we can forget just how good some people in our family are because we get so busy in this very busy world. After exploring this, we finish with a ride home in the friendly, fluffy, white cloud. It has another word upon its belly. But this time you get to choose your favorite way of being calm and content, out of all of the six ways you have practiced over the last six lessons. Then, we get to say goodbye to our special friends until the next time.
