
Release Anxiety & Welcome Within Self-Love
A soft orange light leads you into a gentle body relaxation. Releasing tension around your body so that you can comfortably embrace self-love. Sometimes we don’t allow ourselves to let go of what we don’t want to hold onto, we slip into self-punishment and hang onto anxious and tense feelings. This meditation will help you to let go of those tense feelings as the rain pours into your hands and washes them away. Then it is time to welcome in self-love and self-worth, ending with affirmations.

Closing your eyes too.
And we'll begin with three lovely deep breaths.
Welcome to your safe space.
A space for you.
To be you.
To be held in love by you.
And those who are with you now.
A time to remember how to just be.
To be allowed to just be.
To feel safe and secure.
To know that right now you are wanted.
I want each and every one of you here to just be you.
To know that you are welcome and wanted.
In this time and in this space,
Be you.
Perhaps your time here is for healing.
Maybe it's for rest and time out.
Maybe you need to be told that you are worthy.
Maybe you want something so much deeper.
May you find what you are searching for.
May you allow your inner truth to speak to you when you are ready to hear.
If you are with us meditating for the first time,
Welcome.
There is no right or wrong way to meditate.
No pressure,
No force.
You may not feel comfortable,
So move around until you do.
Your body was never made to be rigid and feel uncomfortable.
Feel your flow and move around.
Maybe you don't want to sit at all.
Maybe you want to stand or lay or walk.
This is your meditation time.
Please follow what feels right for you.
That will never be wrong.
Right now there is no rush.
This time is all for you and you are worth this time.
You will notice that I will pause from time to time and hold the silence for you in your own thoughts.
Space will be held for whatever you need.
Don't be afraid of the silence.
Have the thoughts you have.
Welcome them in.
If you don't like them,
Tell them they're not for now and allow yourself to let them go.
This may take time,
But don't worry if they keep popping in.
Over time and during this course,
You can guide yourself to let them go.
Take three deep breaths.
I wonder if you can imagine a light above you,
Soft and orange,
Like a slowly setting sun on a warm summer's day,
Bright and beautiful,
Just for you.
Feel its warmth above you,
How it's holding you in love.
You can feel it softly and gently moving down into your head.
Feel its warmth as it begins to hold you and care for you.
Feel it now.
If you can't imagine it,
Simply think about it and listen to the words.
It is safe and you can allow.
Feel it filling your entire mind,
Relaxing every part of your thoughts,
Cocooning you in wonder of self.
If your thoughts are warring,
Remember to allow,
They fade and in time become a wilting memory.
The light it drifts down into your jaw and mouth.
Perhaps you're holding your jaw tightly.
Listen your jaw,
Arch your teeth and if comfortable for you,
You can touch the roof of your mouth with your tongue.
Feel the light slowly and lovingly making its way down through your throat.
Breathe it down with every breath you take in.
Breathe it down,
Deeper and deeper and deeper.
Breathe deep and feel it reaching and spreading over your shoulders.
Keep your shoulders down,
Let them go.
Tension can be tight in your shoulders.
Maybe you want to move your head from side to side or rotate it around and around.
Touch the tension until its strength has faded.
In a way the mind-body system can feel as though it's protecting us with tension.
To stay alert and afraid.
It wants us to be protected by it.
Now you can say thank you to the tension for trying its best but it's time to relax and let go.
It's okay to let go of tension.
It will be okay.
The light moves down your arms to the tips of your fingers.
Take your hands and squeeze them into fists three times.
Then release.
Now rotate your wrists around and around.
When they feel nice and relaxed rest your hands if you can wherever is comfortable for you but open and facing upwards so that you can let go and that you can also receive.
If you don't want to do that and it's not comfortable for you that's fine.
The orange light now moves into your chest surrounding your perfect heartbeat.
There is so much love there for you.
Love your heart so deeply.
It loves you.
Breathe the orange light into your stomach.
Breathe away tight muscles.
Feel the light dissolving any tension within you.
See if you can fill your stomach up with breath.
So breathe past your chest and into your stomach.
And your stomach with each breath you take.
And as this light moves down to your legs to the tops of your toes,
Scrunch your toes up if you can three times and then release.
Rotate your ankles and even stretch your legs and relax them back to the comfortable position.
You don't have to sit cross-legged,
Sit however you choose.
This light that is holding you so lovingly travels up the entire back of your body and covers you in beautiful orange sunlight.
It reaches all the way around your back.
Focus for a moment where any tension is in your body.
Perhaps your back is uncomfortable.
So send the light there.
Tell the light to help the tension to dissipate.
Focus on the light in the area with tension and feel it rotating and warming,
Soothing and releasing.
Feel it that you are ready to let it go.
Breathe the tension away.
Breathe it away.
And for a moment be peaceful.
As you breathe the tension away,
Be silent.
Be free.
Have you ever wondered why you may feel so off balance?
Why sometimes you may feel broken?
Broken in pieces?
Do you question why you hurt so much?
Why life feels overwhelming?
Perhaps you sometimes wonder why life does not love you.
It's okay not to be okay.
Times are hard.
Tension is high.
Hearts are tired.
But let me tell you,
Life does love you.
You are wanted.
You are needed.
And sometimes you expect so much from yourself.
To be the best.
To be strong.
To continue on and on and on with no pause.
But sometimes you are tired.
Sometimes you feel broken.
Sometimes those tears feel trapped because you feel numb to life.
Frustrations grow and you feel lost in an abyss of shadows.
Of your former self.
You are allowed.
You are allowed to feel those emotions.
You are allowed to feel free and to welcome how you are really feeling.
You are not failing.
You are a survivor and you are amazing.
It's okay to let go and be true to how you are feeling.
You are worthy.
You are important.
You are wanted.
As the moment passes,
Think of all these emotions that are deep within.
And as you do,
Breathe them down into the palms of your hands.
With each breath,
See the orange light helping you push these feelings into the palms of your hands.
Feel your hands filling with unwanted feelings.
Feelings that have felt trapped and demanding.
Breathe deep and sink into a depth of recognising and letting go as I hold the silence.
Don't be afraid of the silence.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. Your voice is so soothing and beautiful. I’m in such a dark place lately and as hard as I try to pull myself out of this place something keeps pulling me back in. I have such a hard time letting go of certain things which just makes me more depressed. But I’m trying! Thank you for the most perfect meditations. Always the one at just the right time 🩷🌸🙏🏼

Honestly, thank you for this. It helped me calm down and accept some facets of myself and my past, some of which I was battling to close down and realized that I am not ashamed of my past, was just letting my negativity and intrusive thoughts get the best of me.
