Breathe deep,
And breathe well.
Give your body the wholesome breath it deserves.
Isn't life interesting?
How it gives you two ways of feeling,
Two ways of being.
I guess we then have two directions to look in.
We can look back,
Or we can look forward.
And then it depends through which lens we see the past,
Or the future,
And how we see the now.
The blurred vision in which anxiety breeds,
Or the bright lens which is clear.
You see we have choice,
And we can choose which lens to look through.
I admit that at times the clear lens can be the toughest to look through.
It can come with hard work,
New routines,
Changes in thought.
But it also comes with a clarity,
More peace,
More balance,
More enjoyment.
And at times maybe you find yourself looking through the blurred lens.
It's easier.
You know it there.
And old habits die hard,
Right?
But there stays the pain,
The anguish,
The darkness.
Each new day comes with choice.
And I know at times there will be a fight to give in.
But you can't.
You can't give in.
You must wake and rise and fight again for you,
For the world in which loves and surrounds you.
Fight for you,
Because you are everything.
You are everything in your world.
You are how you see it.
You are how you feel it.
You are you.
And there is no one greater than you.
And when you see your glory,
Your brightness and light,
You will know the fight for you was worth it.
Think of your body.
How amazing it is.
How it has held you through all the trauma,
All the pain,
All the suffering in which you have endured.
And continues to hold you through,
Within and throughout.
Always has and always will.
It loves you so completely,
Fully and wholly.
Always will.
Always has.
Hold yourself tight.
There is no body more important than yours.
You are so worthy of love and kindness and you are so worthy of this life.
Breathe deep.
The days I seek are consumed with joy,
With balance,
With healing.
The days I seek contain the present moment,
The opportunity to love deeply,
To let peace within me,
To welcome it within my open arms,
To be heart-guided to myself,
My true inner soul,
Guiding myself without condition to who I really am.
Each time I step away from each present moment,
When I want to be present,
I am reminded that should I step away,
I am stepping away from my choice in that moment.
What do I choose?
Becomes the words on your lips.
What do I choose?
I choose me,
My joy and happiness and my healing.
Do not wilt before your season is over.
It's still time for blooming.
And as spring arrives,
Nature grows.
Notice and devour the scent of earth.
Spring is about growth,
Rebirth of the flowers,
Once again who have been sleeping,
Who have been temporarily covered over in darkness.
But once again,
As the darkness lifts and the brightness appears to shine again,
And here you have a new day,
Just for you,
A new day.
It's time to connect with the essence of you,
To look forward to the future,
To hand-pick precious moments that fill your heart and soul with joy,
Good memories and good feelings.
When you have something arriving in your life like an event,
And perhaps you struggle to find the excitement within,
And perhaps blurred thoughts arrive.
Instead of welcoming the blurred thoughts,
Name five things each time you think of the event as to why you are looking forward to it.
Say how you feel good,
Say how you will enjoy being in the present moment,
Say how you will bank all of those precious memories,
Say how you will feel safe and how you'll feel happy.
And if you don't feel good at the event,
Troubleshoot.
Find a solution.
What right now will make me feel good?
Where am I?
Am I present or have I slipped into listening to the blurred thoughts?
Bring yourself back to where you choose to be.
It may take a couple of goes,
But through this process you are healing.
Your mind is learning and balance is coming back to you.
You are everything.
You are important.
You are beautiful and wonderful and wanted and needed.
You are life.
You are love.
You are the hope.
You are joy.
You are everything.
Thank you for trusting me.
Namaste.
