We may have intellectual understanding of it or even experiences of union, long or short, of being the Self. But by and large, as soon as life demands an interaction or action (or reaction) of us, we simply forget. Even if we are well-anchored in our Divinity, that nature is pure potential and an ever-expanding mystery to our human side. In other words, for the little self, there is always more to discover or experience. Mirror Meditation is a form of meditation that makes it easier to learn to distinguish the facets of our life-experience as both human and Divine. In this introductory course, the first and only training of its kind, you'll develop practices for genuine self-transformation and realization. Lay the groundwork of understanding in 10 informational and practical lessons. You’ll learn foundational theory and important concepts to developing a successful practice. Then apply what you've learned in guided practices to acquaint and deepen your experience with this amazing path for a meaningful mirror meditation practice. What does it mean to 'be embodied'? Aren't we 'in body' already? In this practice, we'll use the mirror as feedback to help us become more deeply aware of our physical vessel and the ways over our lifetimes that we may have become disconnected from it.

You may have heard expressions that refer to how our histories become etched on our faces. Actually, what we see in the mirror represents the entire culmination of our life experiences, but take a deeper look at your history in this guided mirror practice and realize the malleability of the self.

In today's practice, we begin to create a relationship with what I refer to as "The Ally" or "Seer", that quality of not just an impartial witness, but an unconditional and supportive friend. But instead of looking for such friends outside of ourselves, we find them within.

Mirror meditation practice is new to me, even though I've heard of being utilized in selected Tibetan Buddhist practice. This was a great introductory course, and I'm curious and eager to learn more!
