Mind The Gap II: Making Meditation Simple

With Beth Ciesco

This course is about making meditation simple. In Mind the Gap Part I, we explored the default network of experience and how it differs from direct experiencing. We learned about the two brain centers that integrate mind and body and three elements necessary for true mindfulness and the cultivation of creativity. In Part II, we'll break down major meditation misconceptions and expectations and strip meditation down to its absolute essentials, so you can continue to develop your mindfulness practice and begin to transition from mindfulness to meditation. Each short lesson contains a brief practice and the final session offers a framework for a successful independent practice.
