Mind The Gap Part I

With Beth Ciesco

Mindfulness. An awkward word to describe a clear mind. What is mindfulness anyway? Is it more than just being aware of what is happening in the moment? This unmistakably essential stepping stone on the path of meditative practice is often misunderstood. So what exactly is meant by mindfulness and how does one go about practicing it? For beginners, this course will sort out any confusion you may have and set you on a clear path to practicing mindfulness, and if you're experienced, this course may change your definition or deepen your understanding of it. You will learn what the default network of experience is and how it differs from direct experience, the two brain centers that integrate mind and body, and three elements necessary for true mindfulness and cultivating creativity. You’ll also learn 5 mindfulness practices to help you develop a dedicated practice. Plus you’ll come away with a clearer understanding of what mindfulness actually is in just a few minutes a day. So are you ready to discover what mindfulness will mean for you?

Beth has the most calming voice and speaks slow and gives you time to do the practice not rushing through it.
