Haven't had a moment to breathe? Sometimes we are holding onto a big breath that our system is longing to release, along with all it is holding onto and holding back to. We don't even realise that are breath may be getting shorter or that we are running ahead of the breath. Let this practice be a reminder that it only takes a minute or two to restore and re-set - to take a fuller breath and let it all out, to the very last drop. If you want to, you can stay beyond this minute of course, and enjoy many more delicious, full breaths!

Welcome,

Allow yourself to settle into this pause,

Drop the things of the outside for a moment and come into presence,

Drop them from your shoulders,

Let them go from your jaw,

Release them from your body and let everything soften,

Now feel the warmth of your awareness dropping down into the breath in your body,

Feeling its movement,

Drawing in,

Drawing out,

Steady,

Constant and let your next breath be a little fuller,

A breath that allows you a little more space to be and then breathe out with a sigh you didn't know you needed to let go of until now and again,

Each inhale feeling everything widen more space inside to be to be you,

Exhale handing everything back to the earth and the air and now your being is remembering,

You don't have to hold it all,

You never did,

Whisper to yourself it is safe to let go.
