A healing meditation for physical or emotional pain or injury. Our beings are intelligently wired to repair, heal and renew. Never forget, that as a sensitive person who is tuned into energy, you have a particular advantage in being able to tune into and collaborate with these innate healing processes. Using our awareness to awaken to the parts of us that are calling for healing and our own sacred touch, we can attend to our own bodies in ways that are so powerful and transforming.

As a deeply sensitive and empathic person,

You know that one of the gifts you have is being able to feel very deeply.

To be able to feel often into what's going on underneath the surface.

And you have an ability to heal,

Because when you feel and see what's going on beneath the surface,

You can get sensitive to that,

Compassionate,

And feel into also what's needed there.

You have the ability to add more light to a situation or person or injury.

This is a fantastic gift that many others in your life benefit from.

But remember that your gifts are firstly and foremostly for you.

We all have the gift of healing,

Of helping ourselves,

Of supporting,

Nurturing ourselves.

And sometimes we skip this step because we are busy looking after other people.

We can look after everyone better if we are thriving at our best.

So remember to do your own practices first always.

And this practice is all about self-healing and using your powers and gifts,

Particularly the gifts of your own hands,

To offer yourself what's needed.

I'm going to show you two practices.

One is the practice of using your hands to feel both your aura,

That's the energy field around you,

And also your own body and what's going on underneath the surface.

So our bodies are always presenting us with feeling and sensation.

And underneath that feeling and sensation,

There's often something living,

Some experience or emotion that would like to be offered space and the opportunity to shift.

And we can do that with our own healing touch.

We can offer it,

In fact,

Exactly what it needs.

And the second practice I'm going to offer is one that sensitive people often really crave,

And that's the ability to divest yourself of unwanted energy.

So when we feel infiltrated by energy that doesn't belong to us,

Which might be somebody else's stress or anger,

We often feel that very deeply in our body.

Our body becomes sore,

Exhausted and fatigued,

Really upset.

It might be an upset stomach.

It might be a fast beating heart because it's distressed.

It might be that we're carrying that tension as injury,

Pain in our bodies.

So it's really important that we have practices to clear that,

And there are many.

One thing we are very good at,

As I said,

Is using our own hands.

So in the second practice,

We'll learn how to do that.

To learn how to literally clear things,

Pull things,

Cut things that aren't yours.

You don't need them.

And to become clear again and whole and in your own energy field and body.

Let's take some deep breaths.

Settling and arriving in your own being.

Arriving in your own sacred circle,

Your sacred space.

All around you,

You are in a womb of your own electromagnetic field,

Your aura.

Feeling the ground underneath you,

The earth which holds you,

Keeps you safe and steady.

There is always ground underneath you.

Now take your hands,

Your palms together and rub them really fast to generate some heat.

We want to get lots of heat here in our hands.

This helps us really to feel and to offer.

When you feel you've got that,

Take your hands apart slightly with your palms facing and feel the sensation tingling there.

And then start to move them very slowly closer together,

But not so they're touching.

As you do that,

Pay attention to the feeling of the energy between your hands.

You can then move them very gently and slowly apart,

Palms facing.

Be aware of the feeling of the energy you're holding between your hands.

It'll have a physical feeling to you.

Some people describe it as a magnetism.

Others something squeezy and soft.

You'll have your own way of feeling it and whichever way you feel it is right.

There are no wrongs.

Now rub your hands together again.

And this time get aware of that aura around you,

Your own electromagnetic field,

Your space and turn your palms outwards and start to feel that aura.

Move your hands around and around your body in this space.

You can almost push against it and you might feel a slight push back.

You can feel upwards above your head,

Pushing outwards.

Around your body,

Both high and low.

To the sides and to the back.

And just exploring what the feeling is of your own energy space and how you can tend to it with your hands.

And of course you can keep generating that heat by rubbing your palms together.

Being aware as you tend to this space that you are also adding light and love to it.

Anytime you feel you've been infiltrated or you feel depleted energetically,

You have the ability just by feeling your space again,

Establishing it to in some way consecrate it,

Restore it to its full plumpness.

The way you might tend to and groom a pet for instance,

By stroking it or brushing it,

Seeing it get its glossy coat back.

Now take your hands down and scan your whole body with your attention.

Feel it.

You're not observing your body,

You're really inhabiting it and feeling it.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Can you feel if there are particular parts of your body that are calling to you with a strong sensation?

It could be a part of you that feels tight or constricted for instance.

A part which feels it's holding something that it needs to release.

It might be in your neck or shoulders,

In your head,

Across your third eye you might have tension or a headache.

It might be that your throat feels really tight almost as if you're always swallowing past a lump.

This is a very common area to hold unwanted energy.

When I say unwanted it might be someone else's or it might be an old wound of yours that needs healing and shifting because it doesn't live in the new reality.

This is the magic of our bodies that they are all built to heal and regenerate so nothing needs to be stuck but it helps to know how we can collaborate in this regeneration process.

So taking some breaths again let's rub our hands together.

And then find that place and gently lay your hands upon it.

It can feel good to have the warmth,

The caress,

The tenderness.

Breathe into your hands in this place fully.

Receive the healing.

You have this power.

It's very important to trust so go to your deep intuition,

Your wise soul and feel that as this nurturing trustworthy guide who is bringing healing to this space.

And wherever you feel is needed it might be over your heart or over your belly you can bring this beautiful touch.

You can explore how you like to use your hands.

Sometimes it's nice to place your left hand down and then your right hand on top.

There's a real feeling then of being there for this pain and holding it.

And asking it what does it need.

If this is a wound you have,

An emotional wound,

It will be asking for something.

Maybe soothing and reassurance.

Or maybe encouragement,

Affirmation.

You'll feel how you can offer these with your hands,

With your thoughts and words inside.

With the steadiness of your inner gaze and the steadiness of your trust and devotion.

This is so powerful.

And all the while feel how your breath is so soothing,

So delicious here.

Long and slow and deep.

Another way you can use your hands is to massage yourself of course.

You can feel really good to bring your fingers for instance and you can rub them together for the warmth up to your temples.

If you're struggling to get a clear sense of something it can be that your third eye is blocked.

And massaging your third eye and your temples at the same time because you have enough fingers to do that.

Oh that can feel so good and clearing and using your breath to dissolve any holding there.

Your belly is sore and in distress a belly massage from yourself.

So gentle,

So wonderful for moving energy.

And a heart massage the same.

And so on.

All the things you can do with your healing hands.

And now,

Now,

Putting your hands down again we can move to the next practice,

The second practice which is actually to physically remove things from ourself and from our energetic field that we don't want to have there.

And remember your other practices like taking a shower,

Using water,

Using salt.

But this is great because you can do this anywhere because you always have your hands with you.

And you can always get the opportunity even if it's an escape to a bathroom to do this.

So again feel your space,

Feel your ground,

Feel your presence.

And then you might bring to mind something in particular that feels it has attacked you or infiltrated you from someone else or somewhere else.

Feel inward and breathe sensing where that is in your body.

Might be a number of places but it might feel for example,

Here are some examples like you've been stabbed in the back or between the shoulders.

Or like there are cords being pushed into your belly or your chest.

Or hands around your throat trying to silence you.

Don't be afraid there's nothing to fear here.

You're strong and you're powerful.

And you know these great secret practices of what to do.

Nothing can harm you.

So when you're ready think about how you can use your hands to remove these knives,

These cords,

Whatever you've identified.

It might be there's like little bits of dust or rust settling that you want to pick off your skin like monkeys pick insects off each other.

It's your choice but here are some favourites of people I know.

Pulling a cord out.

So taking your hands and wrapping them around where they think a cord might be and pulling it out really forcefully.

Then brushing your hands to get rid of anything that was on that cord and continuing with all the cords wherever you feel they are.

The same with pulling out knives,

Anything that's sticking into you.

Other people like to cut ties this way but why I prefer pulling is then there's no residual nothing left whereas when you cut I always wonder of a little piece of it where it's been cut is still inside.

But this is your choice.

It's your body,

It's your journey,

It's your practice and you will know a great way to do this is just intuitively.

Let it flow,

See what comes.

Another practice is to push things away.

To say be gone and as we did at the beginning to push outwards,

Pushing things out of your field.

Asking them to leave and pushing them or reading them in some other way with your hands with your arms in an inward to outward motion so they leave you and don't come back.

Some people like to blow things away from their field or from parts of their body.

Some people like to feel that picking something up and throwing it away as you would a piece of litter on the ground.

I'm going to leave you now to explore but whenever you finish these rituals of working with your hands take a moment in the clarity of your space again and bring those hands back to your own heart.

You can place them over your heart or prayer like in front of it with your thumbs on your sternum and receive yourself,

Receive your peace and receive your strength and say welcome back.

I am whole.

In words like that it is done.

And then move back out into life feeling clear and shifted with a fresh,

Bouncy,

Fluffy,

Resilient energy field that nothing can penetrate unless you want it to.

Never forget your own powers of healing and renewal and don't forget to use this magic of your healing hands.
