Lesson 1
The Power Of Intention
The most adventurous and transformational journeys often begin with the simple act of taking the first step towards something new. "Shunayata" is a journey into yourself. Together, we shall navigate the ups and downs, embark on some deep dives and eventually reach your desired destination. Along the way, we'll release some things and gather others.
On Day one, you and I will spend some time contemplating on what brought you here and listening to the quiet voice within, which will serve as your guide throughout. New beginnings are often disguised as closed doors. What lies behind your closed door? Let's explore.

Lesson 2
Recognising The Need To Release
Over the course of our days, we end up collecting thoughts, memories, things, and experiences along the way. Some of these experiences are pleasant, and others, the not-so-pleasant ones, are meant to be lessons.
To create space for something new, something fresh, it is important to take a careful yet compassionate look around at what you already own to evaluate if it may be time to let go off something old. Shunyata - your journey into Spaciousness - begins, quite literally, by recognising what needs to be emptied or released. On Day two, we shall be doing just that.

Lesson 3
Raising Your Frequency
Yesterday, we spent some thinking about what needs to be released - today, we try out something else. You are the co-creator of your own life, and in the journey of creation, you may have collected things, people, experiences, memories that you cherish and enjoy - things that you fill your heart with joy and hope. Today, we focus on those. Change does not happen from a place of dissatisfaction - change happens from a place of feeling content with what you have, with the intention to invite more into this space. Let’s learn how to operate from a place of abundance, instead of scarcity.

Lesson 4
Releasing Stuck Energy
The practice today would be different - you will be including your body into the practice, but only as much as it feels comfortable and accessible to you. Today we shall be exploring the power of shaking your body to unclog and loosen any stuck energy: kind of like cleaning surfaces that were once shiny but now have grim and dust stuck to them. The therapeutic shaking acts as a scrub to the clogs in your energetic body . We finish with a couple of minutes in silence.

Lesson 5
Embracing Your Shadows
Today, we dive even deeper: Part of being human is about recognising that where there is light, there would be a shadow. Your shadows are the parts of you that you keep hidden from the world - the parts of you that you choose to sometimes acknowledge only when there is not enough light for others to see - the parts to you that you don’t necessarily like. Often it is important to go through the tunnel to see the light on the other side - this tunnel is a part of your journey, it is not something to be feared. In today’s practice, we shall learn a new approach towards approaching your shadows - one that is loving and compassionate.

Lesson 6
Towards Freedom And Light
Today is an important day. Yesterday, our focus was on helping you recognise your shadows and embracing them with compassion and kindness. Today, we move one step further by delving deep into aspects of yourself that may be hindering your progress and keeping you trapped in the past. Certain people and specific incidents can leave profound scars. Even though the events are in the past, you may find yourself repeatedly reliving the hurt and pain due to the lingering anger and unresolved emotions that you carry within you.
Today’s practice will allow you to step forward from this place of pain and resentment into freedom and inner light.

Lesson 7
Healing The Wounded Child
As years go by, your body changes and you begin to look different. In the process of growing up, you go through many experiences - some good, some bad - and all these experiences shape you and your experience of the world. Did you know that even though the body changes so much, a part of you continues to live on as a child? For example: Maybe you feel shy when there are too many people around you or perhaps you feel angry or upset if you don’t get what you need. Often, when we feel strong emotions, the child in us - the one that lives within - reacts. Just like when you were young, all that the child is looking for is a sense of safety, reassurance and love. Today, we learn how to do just that - to re-connect with the child within and experience the magic of that connection.

Lesson 8
Opening The Spiritual Heart
You are not limited to your body - you are so much more than that. Just like your body has a heart, one that pumps blood and oxygen to the rest of the body, you have a spiritual heart: one that feels pain and love; togetherness and loneliness. This is where your capacity to love and compassion resides. Just like the physical heart, it is important to take care of your spiritual heart and release any blockages that may have entered the energetic space. Today, we learn how to do that. Allowing the spiritual heart to be open changes the experience of your life for the better - it allows you to live a full, rich, meaningful life.

Lesson 9
Towards Compassion And Joy
When you learn how to go beyond yourself, beyond the confines and the chatter of your little mind - the ego - and learn how to become inclusive and compassionate towards other beings, that is when true happiness begins to get generated on the inside. No matter which spiritual tradition you take a look at, all of them convey the same message in slightly different words: to practice kindness, whenever possible. His Holiness, the Dalai Lama says: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” True compassion has the ability to open up your heart in a way that you would have not imagined possible. It helps you go beyond the suffering created by the mind and tap into the endless reservoir of bliss that resides within each one of us.

Lesson 10
Reposing In Love And Surrender
You’ve made it to the last day of the course - Congratulations! Some days may have been easier - some days more challenging - but you made it through, and that’s huge. Today, you learn to surrender and repose in stillness - exploring the new found space within and allowing love to fill the empty spaces. Every ending signifies a new beginning - you went through the process of detangling yourself from within, and now it’s time for you to start reaping the benefits. Think of your journey like that of a plant. First, you need to till the soil, then you pluck out the weeds, put seeds of your choice, add fertiliser and water, and then let Mother nature take over. Soon, a tiny sapling begins to shoot out from the ground and if you keep tending to it, it turns into a full, lush green plant. You’ve done your bit of tilling the soil of your mind, worked through the weeds of old, painful experiences, added knowledge and new found insight as the fertiliser and now it’s time to let Mother Nature take over - to surrender to your higher power. You don’t need to be a believer to try this out. All you need is an open mind and the willingness to experience something new.
