Welcome to this guided meditation session for natural healing.
My name is Somya and I will be guiding you through this practice today.
To begin your session,
Find a comfortable space where you will not be disturbed for the next 10-15 minutes.
You can also choose to do this while laying down.
Find whatever feels good today and get ready.
Once you feel settled in the seat of your choice,
We are ready to begin.
Begin by taking your awareness to the seat or the bed that's beneath you.
Notice how you are being supported by whatever surface is under you.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and breathe out through the nose.
Breathing in through the nose and as you breathe out,
Allow your entire weight to relax onto the surface beneath you.
Breathing in one more time,
Breathing out and letting go.
Giving yourself permission to take the next few minutes just for yourself.
Giving your body and mind the support and the love that it needs in order to recover and heal.
Now move your awareness to the sounds that are around you.
Perhaps you can hear the gentle humming of the fan above you.
Maybe you can hear some vehicles in the distance,
The chirping of birds or any familiar or unfamiliar sound.
Whatever it is that you notice,
Just acknowledge it.
Now move your awareness to your nostrils.
Notice how the breath is flowing in and out of your nostrils.
Notice how each breath is different from the one that has just gone by.
Become curious about your breathing.
Once again,
Move your awareness to the sounds around you.
Have they changed?
Do you notice something new?
The changing of the sounds around you is a reminder of the impermanence of life,
That nothing stays the same forever.
Thus,
Reminding you that your injury or illness is also temporary.
And today,
You shall create the right environment that your body and the mind needs in order to recover and heal.
Together,
Let us take a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the nose.
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the nose.
This time,
Breathe in through the nose.
Open your mouth and breathe out.
Breathe in.
Open your mouth and breathe out.
Once again,
Breathe in.
Open your mouth,
Breathe out.
Let go of everything that does not serve you anymore.
Repeat this three more times at your own pace.
No rush.
With every inhalation,
You invite peace into your body.
With every exhalation,
You release and relax a little bit more.
Take your awareness to the top of your head.
Imagine that there is a beautiful,
Calming white light just at the surface of your head.
And as you listen to my voice,
This white light begins to enter your body.
The light feels cool and calm and slowly begins to move down to your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Cheeks,
Lips,
Chin.
Moving down to your throat,
Your neck,
Shoulders,
Upper back,
Chest,
Middle back.
Moving down to your abdomen,
Filling your back,
Lower back,
Right hip,
Left hip,
Pelvic region,
Buttocks.
Moving down,
Calming you down,
Filling your right thigh,
Left thigh.
The white glowing,
Calming energy moving down to your right knee,
Left knee,
Flowing to your right shin,
Left shin,
Right ankle,
Left ankle,
Right foot,
Left foot.
All the fingers,
All the toes.
And as you watch this white light fill you up,
All the way from your toes to the top of your head,
You begin to feel light,
Calm and relaxed.
This white energy is healing all the cells that it is coming in contact with,
Dissolving anything that does not serve you anymore.
And as you begin to float into this deep state of relaxation,
You notice that this white light begins to gently flow out of your fingers and toes,
Washing away all pain,
All the sickness from your body.
Cleaning space,
Healing and soothing all your aches and pains.
You begin to feel calm and light.
The white healing energy surrounds your entire body.
And you feel safe and protected,
Knowing that your body is beginning to heal itself.
Any emotion,
Any thought that does not serve you anymore is gently flowing out of your body,
Dissolving into this glowing white energy of peace and health.
You continue to breathe deeply,
Relaxing with every outgoing breath,
Feeling light,
Filled with hope and health.
Continue breathing in and out at your own pace.
I shall now repeat a few affirmations for your good health.
You may repeat these in your mind or just listen to my voice.
I am releasing everything that does not serve me anymore.
I love and accept myself completely.
Pain is a way for my body to tell me what it needs.
I listen to my body.
My body knows how to heal itself.
I support its journey with love and patience like I would for a child.
I offer love and support to the parts of me that need the most healing.
With every breath,
I feel light,
Active and filled with calming energy.
And as you continue to breathe in and out,
I shall sing a chant for your good health and for the health of anyone who may need it.
Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhi Naham Sarve Santu Niram Yaham Sarve Bhadrani Pasyantu Mahakas Chit Dukha Bhad Bhave Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Giving yourself permission to wake up from this state of trance.
Gently,
Begin to move your fingers and toes,
Giving yourself permission to wake up.
Take a nice good morning stretch and whenever you feel ready,
You may open your eyes.
