Welcome to this Yoga Nidra practice.
Embracing self-love and welcoming love
From others.
There will be some pauses throughout the Yoga Nidra session which will give you
Time for reflection,
But you will have my voice to guide you when we are ready to
Pick back up on our journey.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Generally we do this lying on our back.
You can be in a chair,
Whatever position is most comfortable for you.
Take a moment to adjust your body and get some wiggles out and find stillness.
Close your eyes and gently allow your breath to become slow and steady.
Breathing in through the nose for four counts.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Holding one,
Two,
And breathe out four,
Three,
Two,
One.
If you can repeat that breathing in through your nose,
Holding for two,
And
Then breathing out through your nose if that is comfortable,
Continue to do so.
We will begin with a body scan.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your toes.
The very tips of your toes.
Feel the sensation of life in each toe,
Allowing
Them to relax completely.
Now let your awareness move up your feet.
Feel the
Weight of your heels sinking into the ground,
Releasing any tension held in
Your feet.
Continue bringing your awareness and noticing any sensations up
Through your ankles,
Over your calves,
Your shins,
Pausing at your knees,
Allowing your lower legs and feet to feel heavy on the surface you are on.
Allow each part of your lower legs to relax fully.
Bringing your awareness up over your knees,
Feel the relaxation spreading up
Through your hips and thighs,
Letting go of any tightness or discomfort as you
Sink deeper into relaxation.
Allowing the muscles of your hips,
Your thighs,
And any muscles around your knees
To relax and feel heavy now.
Your whole lower body feeling heavy now.
Allow any discomfort,
Pain,
Or tension to melt away from you and down into the
Earth.
Feel your abdomen rise and fall gently with each breath,
Releasing any
Tension with every exhale.
Let the relaxation and awareness flow through
Your chest and upper back.
Feel your heart space opening up.
Feel yourself
Getting ready to receive love and compassion here.
Melting any tension from
Your muscles into the floor or the surface beneath you.
Bring your awareness now to the tips of your fingers,
To your hands,
Your wrists.
Feel the muscles of them soften and let go of any
Tension they may be holding.
Wiggle your fingers a little bit to get any nervous energy out.
Shake your hands
Out here.
Moving your attention up over your elbows,
Your upper arms,
And your
Shoulders.
Feel them melting into the earth,
Completely relaxed and at ease.
Allow your neck to release any tension it may be holding.
Let your head become
Heavy on the ground.
You are completely supported by the surface beneath you.
Bring your awareness to your face.
Soften your jaw.
Relax your cheeks.
And allow the muscles in your forehead to smooth out.
Take a few moments here to feel your entire body
Completely relaxed and at peace.
Feel the cool air,
The sensation of cool air coming in through your nose as you
Breathe in deeply through your nose.
And the warm air flowing out either through your nose or your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in through your nose,
The sensation of the cool air,
Setting it free,
Releasing any tension.
Feel your whole body resting heavy on the surface you are laying on.
You are now ready to begin our journey of love and self-acceptance.
Yoga Nidra has begun.
Imagine yourself standing on a pier overlooking a pristine sandy beach.
This is your private beach.
The sand is the perfect color and the beach is the perfect temperature for you.
This is a place where you can feel completely safe.
As you walk toward the water,
You feel the sand or the soil beneath your feet.
It is warm and inviting here.
Like the earth has been waiting for you to just come and walk upon it.
Feel the earth's love radiating up through your feet,
Over your ankles,
Up your legs,
Your thighs,
Your hips,
Love flowing through your abdomen,
Your chest,
Down your arms to the tips of your fingers.
Mother Earth's love is flowing up through your neck,
All the way to the top of your head.
You are safe here.
Take a few moments to absorb the love of Mother Earth.
You will hear my voice again soon.

The temperature is just right.
The temperature is just perfect to your liking.
The gentle waves caress the shore
And the salty breeze brushes against your skin,
Carrying with it a sense of tranquility and serenity.
You are safe here.
As you relax on the beach or the shoreline,
Either seated or lying down,
Visualize a soft,
Warm,
Glowing light
At the center of your chest.
This light represents your capacity
For love and self-acceptance.
Remembering to breathe naturally here.
With each breath,
Feel this light growing brighter and warmer.
The light is expanding
To fill your entire being
With a sense of warmth and compassion.
This light is giving you space and permission
To accept yourself fully
As you are right now.
Take a few moments here
To find some compassion and acceptance
And maybe even some love for yourself.
Take in the waterfront scene that you are in.
What does the sky look like?
What does the water look like?
Are there plants or animals around you?
This is your perfect beach.
This is where you feel safe.
Begin to move your focus onto you.
What can you find about yourself
That you truly love and are proud of?
Try to find at least one thing.
Ask yourself if you can focus
On that one thing more often throughout your day.
Is there something you absolutely love about yourself?
Is there something you just like about yourself?
Accept where you are with self-compassion
And know that you deserve
To have all the self-love.
Give yourself that permission
To have love for you.
Take a few moments to feel grateful
For this aspect of you that you love.
Now bring to mind
Someone that you love deeply.
This could be a friend,
Family member,
Partner,
Even a pet.
It could be someone from your spirit team,
A guide that you know is with you.
Visualize them standing
In front of you on this beach
Radiating right back to you
The love and affection that you feel for them.
This looks like pure love
Is shimmering off of them
As they are sharing the love back to you.
There are no conditions to this love.
This is just pure love.
Take a few moments
To revel in this love.
Feel the love that they have for you
Surrounding you like a warm,
Safe embrace.
Know that you are worthy of this love
And that you deserve to receive it fully.
As you bask in the love of this person or this entity
Feel your own capacity
For giving and receiving love
Expanding even further.
Allow yourself to open up
To the possibility of giving and receiving
Love freely.
Be open to giving love without asking for
Anything in return.
Just putting your love out there.
Sit in this possibility for a few moments here.
Now visualize yourself surrounded
By a circle of loved ones.
These may be friends,
Family members
Spiritual guides,
Pets
Whoever you feel are your people
Your entities that you love unconditionally.
These are the ones that you feel truly supported by.
If there's nobody
That you can think of right now
Make it up.
Make your own circle here.
They could be your angels.
Whoever they are
Feel the warmth of their presence
As they offer you their unconditional love
And support.
Allow yourself to receive this love fully
Knowing that you are worthy
Of unconditional love just as you are.
Take a moment
To bask in the feeling of being completely
Surrounded by love and acceptance
Whether you are a part of the circle or you are inside the circle.
How does this love
Feel in your body?
There is unconditional love here and it is all
For you.
Know that you are deserving
Of all the love that the universe has to offer.
Take a few moments here
To set a loving intention while you are within
The supported circle.
You can set your intention
For the rest of the day,
The week,
The month,
Whatever duration.
Make sure that your intention is very
Clear and very specific.
Take a few moments to really let your whole
Body absorb your intention and know
That it already is.
Thank your circle
For showing up for you today and set
Them free with gratitude and love.
If you'd like to give them a hug,
A high five,
An embrace,
Or any inspired action of thanks
Feel free to take the time to do that now.
Know that
When you set them free you can always ask
Them to come back and create a circle for you.
Give your circle any messages
You'd like to give and be open to receiving
Messages from them,
Whether you receive
The message now or sometime in the future.
Allow the circle to slowly disperse
And make your way back toward the entrance
To the pier where you first started this journey.
Walk with a knowing that you are
Loved and supported by the earth,
By your loved ones,
By the divine.
You are held,
You are unique,
And you are beautiful.
Give yourself permission to believe this
Because you deserve it.
Feeling the ground under your feet
As you turn and walk slowly
Back toward the pier.
You can take your time here.
Fully immerse yourself in your surroundings as you walk back.
Notice any changes in the color,
Temperature,
Smells,
Or sights.
Begin to walk back to the pier
And you will hear my voice again in a few moments.
As we begin to bring our
Practice to a close,
Take a moment to
Thank yourself for taking this time to nurture and nourish
Your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Know that you can return to this place of love and
Self-acceptance whenever you need to feel grounded
And supported.
When you feel ready,
Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Gently awaken your body
From its state of relaxation.
Take your time as you gradually transition
Back to the present moment.
Yoga Nidra is now complete.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes
And come back to the space around you.
