Hello friends, I hope that you are doing well. I have created this course for you so that you can practice with me and bring small changes in your life to help you fall asleep easily. This course has 3 lessons. The first part of each lesson has theory for some knowledge and the second part is practical. We will practice together under my guidance. This course has various techniques such as Yogic Mudras(hand gesture) Facial gestures, Savasana techniques, Body Scanning and Deep Controlled Breathing. This is for everybody whether you have slight sleep issue or more, you can practice with me and learn. Meet your Teacher

Sanghamitra is an experienced Yoga and Meditation instructor teaching for over 16 years. She has received various certifications in Yoga and Reiki. She has been helping others to regain health and wellness. She strongly believes in mind-body connection. Hence her main focus of teaching includes mindful breathing and mindful awareness to reduce stress and bring a balance in mind, body and spirit.

Lesson 1

Sleep And Its Importance

This lesson discusses about sleep and it's importance. A deep good night sleep is essential to keep our body and brain working properly. Sleep repairs cells in our body. Our immunity and our mood also require regular deep sleep. Sound sleep leads to sound body and mind. In this lesson we shall practice Yogic mudra (hand gestures)Mudras when done regularly can alter our perception, improve mental functions and help our health as well. I have included gnan(gyan) mudra and kaki mudra(facial gesture includes eyes). They are both great to calm our mind and improve sleep.

Deep Regulated Breathing And Sound Sleep

Hello friends, I hope you had a nice practice with the previous lesson. Here is the second lesson. In this part, we shall have a detailed understanding of sleep and how slow, deep, and controlled breathing helps to improve sleep. We will go into details aboutthe brain and nerve fibers and their association with sleep. The practice includes belly breathing, juicy savasana (yogic relaxation), and body scanning. Hope this helps! From Sleep Disorder To Sound Sleep

Hello there, Welcome back to the final topic: from sleep disorder to sound sleep. Here, we will know how small changes in our lifestyle can hugely impact sleep. I will discuss a bit about Vaastu Shastra which is an ancient Indian architecture to place or design furniture, principles is such a way that it creates harmony. Feng shui is also quite similar. Let me know your thoughts on this. Later will be some more body relaxation techniques that you can try with me. We shall practice 4-7-8 breathing and 3:6 breathing exercise.
