Hello,

Welcome back to 30 Days of Soul Curriculum through the lens of a soul art journey that you can use in your own life,

Your own transformations,

For your own brilliance,

Your own magnificence,

Your own journey.

This is my soul art.

Today we're going to talk a bit about the inner voice and it comes from something that happened while I was working on my soul art.

If everyone could just breathe in through your nose.

Feel the breath come in and breathe out through your mouth.

Just to arrive,

Just to get present.

Inhaling through your nose.

Exhaling through your mouth And we're just going to scan through our body for our sense of home.

Our sense of home within our body can change from day to day.

Inhaling again through the nose.

Exhaling through the mouth and just scan your body from top to bottom.

Looking for that sense of home and where it is in your body right now.

Where do you feel that sense of home,

That felt sense of home in your body?

It might be in a very tiny place like an eyelash.

It could be in a big place.

It could be in one of your energy centers.

It might be in your hips.

Just get a sense of where that home is for you right now.

Where is your felt sense of home in your body today?

And for some it might be right outside of the body as well.

And whenever you find that sense of home,

I just want you to breathe into it.

Inhale into that part of your body.

And exhale from that part of the body.

And might you even imagine that you're inhaling from your heart to that part of the body,

And your sense of home may be in the heart,

So you stay in the heart.

But inhaling from the heart to that place in the body where you have that sense of home today.

And then exhaling from that sense of home back to the heart.

Inhaling from the heart to wherever that place of home is.

And exhaling from that place of home back to that heart center.

Inhaling from the heart to that place of home in your body.

Exhaling from that place of home Back to the heart,

Building that connection.

Building that connection between the heart and your sense of home today.

Inhaling.

From the heart to that sense of home.

And exhaling from that place in your body where you sense home all the way back to the center of the heart.

Are you feeling grounded?

There's a reason we're talking about the heart and the sense of home today.

When I was doing my soul art journey,

When you're in a journey,

Just as if any journey you take in life,

Right?

When you set an intention to work on something,

To heal something,

To work through something,

To find things,

To get curious,

Whatever it be.

Once we create that intention,

We are on a journey.

And in that journey,

Our higher self,

Our spirit guides,

They help us in many,

Many,

Many,

Many ways.

And that is happening throughout the entire journey.

Now,

In a soul art journey,

When you finish your inspired action,

Your spirit action,

That's from your insights,

That's when the journey ends.

And once I create the soul art,

I go in and I work with it to find the insights I excavate.

And when I was done with this soul art,

And I was creating next to my daughter,

Who is nine.

And she was creating a soul art journey as well next to me.

And she's very talkative.

She loves to talk and she will talk all day long.

And while we were creating,

She was telling me stories.

And one of the stories that she told me was about a mimic.

Now a mimic in cryptid lore is really,

It's this thing that comes in and pretends to be someone you love in order to get into your energy field,

In order to do sometimes bad things,

Right?

A mimic.

Going on and on and on in our soul art journey.

I would say she talked about the mimic for maybe two hours,

Like telling me all the stories of the mimics,

How she had experienced the mimic once.

It was trying to be her brother.

And she said,

But it sounded like him,

But it felt like him,

But it wasn't.

And there was a cue because they can't show you that it comes from like under the bed or calls you out of a room with their voice,

Right?

So this was a story that for two hours of working,

On my soul art I was listening to.

This is information,

Right?

This is information.

My intention was I am showing up for myself and anything that happens during this journey,

I am aware of.

Now at the time,

I was just creating,

Right?

I was just creating.

I was just listening and kind of listening to her story and asking questions.

But when I went into the space of working with my journey and what happened during my journey,

I all of a sudden realized that I am showing up for myself as my intention story about the mimic,

A sound that pulls you away from yourself,

Made me think about all the things I do in my life that this is going to help you.

This is going to get you through.

This is going to get you to the next level,

Right?

This is something you should do.

And I don't see it.

It's something I hear within myself,

Right?

And a lot of those things are not always the best for me.

They help me out in the moment.

You know,

I think about even just a coffee in the morning,

Right?

When I wake up,

The coffee is calling me.

The coffee is like,

Oh,

You need me.

Comfortable you would be able to have this space in the morning and you can just relax before everyone gets up right like that's the coffee but is it really the coffee is it is a coffee really doing something for me that's helpful and I feel this connection to it right I feel this connection like oh it's like my space and I've created all of these definitions around it but and when I have coffee without something to eat first it can really mess with my cortisol levels so I start thinking about all of these things the mimic stories if I'm gonna show up for myself I have to be able to know what is truly in my highest and greatest good and what is mimicking something that feels like care.

Children are channels.

They are open.

And especially when they're doing something like creating art,

They're just connected.

She's a manifester in human design.

She's totally connected to the divine guidance.

And so she was telling me as we were going through this.

So the mimic.

I want you to think about for a minute,

What voices do you have that.

.

.

Say,

Hmm,

You should do this.

I love you.

This is good for you.

You really want this,

Right?

What are those things in your life?

What is the mimic telling you in your life that takes care of you in the moment?

In the moment,

My nervous system may be crazy and I can do something that would bring it down,

But it's not in my highest and greatest good.

It's really not showing up for myself,

Right?

Like in a moment of grief,

I could easily walk out and I could go get a drink and I would feel that.

I would get that,

Okay,

I don't need this right now,

Right?

In this way,

But it's also an opportunity for me to move deep into something if it's right at the surface,

To heal it,

To move through it,

To hear it,

Right?

To write with it.

So I want you to think about the different voices.

What is the mimic call towards you?

And its ego could be interfering energy that comes in.

I take a soul shamanism class every two weeks and we were talking about how energy can be mimicked,

Can be imitated to bring you out of your highest and greatest good.

What are those voices?

That's what we're going to talk about today.

And what's interesting in human design,

You have a sacral response,

Which is,

Uh-huh,

Uh-uh.

And some types,

Their life is run by that.

Other types still can get a lot out of it because you're still feeling your sacral voice,

Right?

I've been doing these sacral sessions for people,

And it's really just asking questions.

And it's learning to hear that voice.

It's learning to hear that voice that is not the mimic,

That is your authentic voice,

And knowing what it feels like,

Paying attention to what it feels like.

I've been seeing so many people just second-guessing what their sacral is.

So I'm going to just bring you through a few questions to start with,

And then we're going to do a little visualization about the voices that you follow.

The voices in your life,

Are they actually there?

Are you actually showing up for yourself through the things they're calling you towards?

And it's not to say,

I want to put this disclaimer out here,

It's not to say there's good and bad.

It's to say,

Yeah,

I have habits that are not great for me,

But they have gotten me through.

Right.

They have gotten me through.

And now maybe it's time to be honest about those.

Right.

To really show up for myself.

I'm not going to shame myself for it because it was a coping mechanism.

It was something that moved me through.

For an example,

I was in shock after the grief of my parents dying seven days apart.

Right.

I went into shock for five months and I don't remember anything.

I don't know what I did to get through those five months,

But my body wasn't ready to really start working on anything.

It was still in shock.

Know what i'm doing right now right and there were lots of habits that got me through just to get to the point where i could look at it and when i started looking at it i did it piece by piece i didn't do it all at once i wasn't like here's my grief i did it one little piece at a time and those habits kept me alive and working and going so that i could do those little things so i'm not shaming anyone for anything that's going on with your rhythmic voice but to be aware of it to start to notice that yeah some of these things they pretend that they are in our best interest.

They pretend that they love us.

They pretend that they're going to serve us in beautiful ways,

But they don't,

Right?

Let's just do a little sacral questions for a minute.

So a sacral question,

I'm just gonna ask you yes or no questions.

And I want you to answer out loud.

Uh-huh,

Uh-uh.

That's all I want you to do.

Just uh-huh and uh-uh.

Those are the answers.

And I'm gonna ask you real simple questions.

You should be able to answer them without thinking.

And I want you to feel what it feels like to have an answer without thinking,

To rely on your sacral.

So just take a nice deep breath in.

I want you to swallow.

And then blow a cool stream of air out through your lips like you're blowing a candle out.

And remember,

We're going to answer,

Uh-huh,

Uh-uh,

Okay?

Are you wearing shoes right now?

Did you have breakfast this morning?

Did you drink a lot of water today?

Are you thirsty?

Are the lights on in your room?

Are you wearing shoes?

Are you standing right now?

Are you sitting right now?

Did you get eight hours of sleep?

Do you have children?

Do you have one child?

Do you have five children?

Take another deep breath through your nose.

Swallow.

Breathe out a cool stream of air.

How was that?

So getting used to feeling our sacral response,

Right?

Getting used to feeling what it feels like when it's like,

Oh,

I know this.

It's boom.

There it is,

Right?

And practicing those kind of questions can be really helpful.

We are going to just do a small visualization about your voice and working into your voice.

So go ahead and close your eyes.

And I just want you to feel your breath.

You don't have to change it.

You don't have to move it.

You don't have to transform your breath at all,

Deepen it,

Anything like that.

Just bring your awareness to your breath.

And I want you to feel.

Each inhale and exhale.

When it comes naturally,

You don't have to change it.

You don't have to try to do anything.

Just watch your breath with awareness.

Be a witness.

And for a minute,

Bring your awareness to your inner voice.

Your inner voice.

The inner voice that makes all the daily decisions.

Get a sense.

Of the depth and quality of that voice.

You might even put your awareness on your sacral center as you bring this in.

And for a moment,

Can you think about a voice where maybe you make a choice that you kind of know might not be great for you?

It might be that mimic voice.

It might be that voice that says,

I love you.

This is going to help,

Right?

I love you.

Like an echo of your authentic voice,

But not.

.

.

Quite right.

And I want you to sense into the quality of that voice.

The depth of that voice.

Notice if there's a difference between your authentic voice and that mimic voice.

Can you sense a difference?

Between the authentic inner voice and the mimic voice.

And the authentic voice might be quieter.

It might be louder.

It might have a depth that's not there in the mimic voice.

Maybe there's a word that shows up.

When that mimic voice happens.

Maybe there's a word that doesn't quite fit right with.

Your inner voice.

Your authentic inner voice.

So while you're here in this place,

I'm going to ask some questions.

What mimic voices in your life sound caring but lead you away from your authentic truth?

How can you distinguish between genuine inner guidance and mimic guidance?

And what patterns become clear?

When you look back at your recent journey.

Just let this sit.

Don't look for answers.

Just start to feel the body.

Feel your felt sense.

Feel your body.

Feel the sensations.

And trust whatever comes up for you.

Trust what comes up for you now.

Your authentic voice knows the difference between real care.

And that idea of the mimic care.

Trust what feels like coming home,

Connecting to the heart,

Finding your home.

And even when that mimic voice sounds really reasonable.

Really reasonable,

It might sound.

The more you practice recognizing this.

False voice right this mimic voice the clearer and authentic your guidance is going to be.

So take a nice deep breath.

On the exhale,

Just begin to move your body just a little.

Shake your fingers out.

Move your shoulders.

Roll your head around your shoulders.

Take one more breath in.

Let it out with a sound.

Remember,

You always have that sacral response in your body.

You can always come back to that.

You can always come back to your place of home in your body when you have something going on.

You can always connect that place of home to your heart.

There's so many ways you can write dialogue with your mimic and your authentic voice.

You could do a dialogue between the two.

Your heart and your authentic voice.

So there's so many beautiful ways to play.

I'm leaving you here so that you can enjoy your day.

Let it sit in the background.

See if you notice your mimic voice come up today.

We all have one.

We all have this inner voice that doesn't,

It's not quite us.

It's not quite authentic,

But it definitely impersonates,

Right?

We all have it.

We're not shaming ourselves for it or for following it.

Totally okay,

Right?

My friends I hope you have a beautiful day.

Thank you so much my friends.

Namaste.
