Welcome,
I am Jocelyn,
I invite you to find a bit of stillness in your body,
Wherever you are,
Whatever shape your body is in,
Beginning to find a bit of stillness and adjusting your body so that you have a bit of comfort as well.
I invite you to close down your eyes,
Allowing your awareness to move inward,
Allowing your awareness to take up space within your body,
Allowing your awareness to move throughout your body,
Taking up space and noticing where in your body your awareness is being called.
It might be that your awareness is being called to a specific place,
A small place,
A large place in your body.
It might be a place of pain or a place of relaxation,
Or it might be that your awareness is being called to a flow within the body,
Like the flow of blood or breath,
Allowing your awareness to be beckoned to any place or system in the body.
Taking a few deep breaths into that place,
Allowing your inhale to expand,
Bring life,
Energy to this place in all directions.
And on the exhale,
Settling that breath right back down to the center of that place.
So doing this in your own time,
Just inhaling,
Allowing your breath to bring life and expansion in all directions at this place.
And on the exhale,
Settling back down to the very center point of this place in your body.
Allowing your inhale to take up space,
To expand within this place in your body,
To bring life and energy.
And on the exhale,
To allow your breath to settle back to the center point of this place.
Continuing like this with a few deep breaths,
Being conscious and aware of your breathing and this place in your body.
And allowing your breath in its own time and own pace to bring life and balance to this place that is calling your awareness from within your body.
I invite you to expand now your awareness again across the whole body,
Taking up space within this beautiful physical body of yours.
Scanning for another place in your body that your awareness is being called,
Being beckoned.
It might be a small place like a pore or a singular hair,
Or it could be a big place,
A whole large muscle in your body,
Or it might be a system,
A system of breath or blood or digestion.
Wherever your awareness is calling now and beckoning,
Allow your awareness to begin to focus there.
And doing the same,
Inhaling into that place,
Bringing life and expansion in all directions.
And on the exhale,
Beginning to settle and balance back to that center point of this place.
Inhaling and expanding outward in all directions,
Bringing life,
Energy,
And flow to this area of your body.
And on the exhale,
Settling back down,
Balancing on the center of this place.
And doing that a few more times,
Just imagining your breath born in this area of your body that is beckoning your awareness right now.
Expanding out in all directions and then exhaling back,
Balancing on the very center point of this place.
And invite your awareness now to let that go and begin to search and scan your body for a sense of home.
Where in your body right now do you have the sensation of home?
And home may mean many different things to many different people.
So I'll just say the word a few times and I invite you to allow your awareness to scan for the sensations of home in your body right now.
Allowing your awareness to rest and lay across this sensation of home in your body right now.
You might even breathe into this place of home.
Inhaling,
Expanding in all directions,
Bringing life and bringing energy to that sensation of home.
And on the exhale,
Allowing your breath to settle and balance in the very center of home.
Doing that a few times,
Allowing at your own pace your breath to bring life and energy to this place of home,
This sensation of home that is yours,
That is in your body right now,
A touchstone.
And on each exhale,
Allowing that breath to settle and balance in the center place of that home,
That place of home within you.
And this place of home may shift from day to day,
From moment to moment,
But it's always here within you somewhere.
Taking one last breath in your own time,
Inhaling,
Bringing life,
Bringing energy,
Bringing space and expansion to this place of home within you.
Maybe you notice colors or sounds or patterns or memories that are awakened here in this place of home right now.
Give them life with that inhalation.
And as you exhale,
Bring it back down and balance right in the center of that home,
Knowing that it's there,
That you have it within you.
And releasing your awareness now from this place of home.
Bringing your awareness back to the shape of your body.
Can you feel the shape of your body in space right now?
Can you get a sense of your fingers,
Your thumb,
Your first finger,
Second finger,
Third finger and fourth finger,
And the shapes they create in space?
Can you sense into the spine and the curvature of the spine,
Each vertebrae,
The space between?
Can you get a sense of the length of your spine?
Can you get a sense of your skull,
Your shoulders,
Your hips,
And your feet here in space now?
When you're ready,
I invite you to open your eyes.
I invite you to take in this moment,
This knowing that there is home within.
This knowing that our body communicates with us,
Beckons our awareness to places,
Calls for our energy and awareness,
And that just by stopping a few times,
Maybe one time a day or every other day,
Just to listen to the communication,
Just to hear where your body is calling your awareness,
Where that sense of home is in any one moment,
You're developing a relationship with your body.
You're developing a relationship with your senses.
You are becoming more sensitive to this beautiful body that houses your soul.
