So welcome to this full moon meditation.
On November the 19th we experience a full moon,
A full moon in Taurus.
And Taurus is an earth energy,
So there's a lot of grounding energy around at the moment.
It's also a lunar eclipse,
And a lunar eclipse is a time of darkness.
So in alignment with this darkness,
In alignment with the natural forces around us,
This is a period to go inwards.
It's a period for introspection and to go inwards.
In the dark days we spend time inside,
And that's what we must do within ourselves.
Full moon energy is all about releasing,
So it's a good time to release whatever we want to let go of what is no longer serving us.
Also in this lunar eclipse energy there's a lot of high intensity around.
There's a lot going on in the atmosphere,
So it's important that we keep our energy high.
So we're going to spend some time in this meditation in gratitude as well,
As gratitude is such a beautiful energy to be in.
It's a beautiful high vibrational energy.
So let's begin this meditation,
Let's move inwards,
Let's go into introspection,
Let's release,
And let's be grateful.
So close your eyes,
Find your comfortable seat,
Roll your shoulders back,
Straighten your spine.
And just take a couple of deep breaths just to find yourself in this space,
In this moment.
So breathing in,
And releasing it all.
Once more,
Breathing in,
And releasing.
And just allow your body to arrive into this space,
Into this meditation.
Just gently come into the moment.
And just begin to become aware of the outer edges of your body.
Feel the cool air of the room you're sitting in,
Gently touch your skin.
Maybe you can feel warmth or heat.
Just notice any sensations on the body.
And just begin to find yourself within these sensations,
Within this space.
And just breathe into that.
Just beginning to become very present,
Arriving into this moment,
Arriving into this time,
Into this space,
Into this energy.
We are arriving,
We are becoming present.
And then begin to take yourself inwards,
Just notice any areas of tension within your body.
Just breathe into those,
Give them permission to release,
Give them permission to let go.
Just mentally say,
I allow you to release,
It's safe for you to release.
Letting go of all the parts.
Releasing all those tight,
Uncomfortable parts.
And then let's gently bring our attention to any areas in our life that we would like to release.
Maybe there's an emotion,
Maybe there's a person,
Maybe there's a situation.
Just start to notice those things,
Just bring them into your mind's eye.
And then we're going to very gently imagine ourselves releasing all those things,
All those external forces.
I'm going to imagine letting go of them all.
Imagine not being consumed by them,
Worried about them,
Connected to them.
Imagine yourself just shaking them all off and letting them go.
Releasing it all.
Imagine how strong you feel as you do that.
How powerful you feel as you let go.
Now let's take a few moments to imagine our lives now we've let go of all these things.
Visualize how that looks,
How we're living,
How we are not attached to these things anymore.
These emotions,
These situations,
These external forces,
These people.
Just spend a few moments visualizing your life and how it feels,
How it feels when you've let go of all these things.
Really lean into the emotion of that because that is where your power is.
And as we draw this meditation to a close,
I want you to lean into gratitude.
Let's lean into the vibration of gratitude.
Let's be thankful for everything that we have achieved.
Everything that we have let go of.
Let's be grateful for all the things we have released.
And again,
Really go into the emotion of gratitude.
Really go into the emotion of thanking yourself for everything you have let go of.
Everything that you have released,
Everything that is no longer serving you.
Step into the power that you have released that you have let go of.
Step into the power of gratitude and the magnificence of all you have achieved.
Thank yourself for all the work you have done.
Thank yourself for everything you have done in this space.
Feel blessed in this moment.
Take this beautiful feeling with you for as long as you can over the coming days.
